We've played 5 away games and lost 4,we won away at jablonec who were awful, we need to get to the bottom. Of it pronto.

Mally it’s pretty simple for me. Against AZ and yesterday again, we’ve not enough dig in the midfield. It’s awe one having the gung ho attitude but guys like christie, Turnbull and rogic for example, as well as doing the attacking stuff, they need to do the dirty work aswell. I’m games like those when fit, I’d play McCarthy in front of the back 4 and push mcgregor up one. The other problem we have right now is lack of depth in quality in the squad. You could see Abada, ralston etc tire yesterday but we’d no really options from the bench. Forrest was missing, we’d the new RB at LB to accommodate the injured Taylor which proves we need another LB by tomorrow night. Ange will get it right but he was never going to solve all the problems in 1 window. And finally ( and ange has admitted this himself) sacrificing kyogo wide to accommodate edouard doesn’t work, we lose so much from kyogo playing him out wide. He must play central from now on.

With the Greek lady coming in I'm not sure if that's going to be the case, he doesn't strike me as a wide player.

The Greek striker especially against a harder opposition will for me play second fiddle to kyogo…. I think we can all agree he’s our No1 striker…… domestically against weaker opposition he could play both but for me I’d play kyogo through the middle on his own supported by our midfield. It’s a long season so the Greek striker will get plenty of game time.

We all knew Eddy was a waste of space yesterday, but Ange refused to switch the pair - never mind just hook Eddy and reorganize?
That wasn't the only factor that cost us as yet again we saw their stronger, maybe less skillful but more aggressive midfield, bully the Celtic players, where frankly Christie and Abada were 'missing'.
It's easy to say we did this/ that well and what might have been? However, we are Jekyll and Hyde - home and away and it's worrying.

Garry av said that in another thread mate callum is in there himself, low betide that boy gets injured, we need another midfielder who can look after himself,

Onceabhoy, tell me a game against that lot you’ve seen christie really turn it on? Turnbull was the same. Your 100% correct, their midfield were prepared to do the dirty work, rogic, christie turnbull they’re no interested in the rough and tumble, and mcgregor can’t do it all on his own…. all last season we witnessed oor midfield play second fiddle to that mob and again yesterday we were left carrying christie turnbull again. That’s why going forward ange will need to rethink his midfield especially in Europe and against that mob. We cannot afford passengers in those fixtures.

We tried the same midfield against them last season and they steam rolled us. We need a bit of steel in there as they are all quite similar where they want to play football. After watching McCann in the European games I’d be tempted to bid for him.
Wether it’s because Ange doesn’t have enough squad players he can trust, or if he just won’t change his tactics, he will need a plan b for some games . Especially if he can see it’s not working. Balogun wasn’t bombing forward yesterday, not sure why he never switched eddy out there and brought in kyogo during the game?

Celtic have only had One victory away from home since February, when Lenny was still our manager.
Our next away game is at Livingston and we haven’t won there since they came back up into the top flight.
We also have Hibs away soon and Celtic have a shocking record at Easter Road.
I’m not overly concerned because I’m sure Ange is the manager, to take our players through the gears.

Garry I have stated this in several previous posts and he is a repeat offender every single time. At the moment we are very limited for choice and most of the midfield are very similar types that shirk tackles and are easily intimidated. We need more 'steel' in there.

I meant to mention it’s One win in 10 away games.
Sevco have only had away wins at Ross County and twice at Livingston in their last 11 away matches.
