Excellent performance yesterday. Edouard needs to go now. He's a waste of a jersey. He should have been sold last season. I'd have played Kyogo through the middle. The difference Ajeti's energy up front made when he came on just highlighted we'd been playing with 10 men. Punt him. Other than that not a failure in the team. Welsh was outstanding. First name on team sheet for me against them. Turnbull hasn't shown it for me yet but has potential to be either bang average or special. Joe Hart's confidence spreads right through team. Great signing. Abada excellent and he's only 19. Ralston gave his all yet again. If his heart is in it I'd like to see Christie sign a new deal. Thought Starfelt did ok. Soro few good challenges when he came on. Fantastic to be back in Paradise. Even if I was denied a stone wall pie and bovril because they don't take cash. Unsure whether we missed Celtic or Celtic missed us more last season.

Glad you enjoyed it. The noise was really amazing again #Celticfansmatter.
I would offer Christie a deal, but only to see how serious he is about Celtic.
I think he would turn down any offer as he is a snake in the grass and putting himself in the shop window, he can just as easy revert back to not lifting a leg and he will always for me be one of the betrayers who cost us the 10.

PS: Joe Hart needs a hair cut.

JFP 😆🤣😂.

Hard to disagree with you Mal, Ntcham who's gone, Eddy, Christie and LG were a disgrace last season.

Edouard hasn’t looked the same goal threat since Celtic clinched 9 in a row.
But since Celtic clinched our historic Quadruple Treble in December,
Edouard has played 26 domestic games for Celtic and he’s scored an impressive 17 goals.
It’s a surprising total considering Edouard doesn’t always play the full 90 minutes.
I’m sure you would’ve loved being back in paradise yesterday JFP. 👍.

Eddy has done himself absolutely no favours - and maybe even some damage. His hero-status at Celtic Park has evaporated and some supporters have even turned against him. Lackluster performances have not only decreased any decent valuation, but may have put some clubs off? Right now he is a shadow of the player from 18 months ago and we will probably sell at a loss while his choice of destination gets smaller than willie in an ice bath.

Thought he did well yesterday, linking up well, but good be better, when him and Kyogo get used to each other, they will be a sensational pairing.

aindoh,

what part of you makes you think that Eddy, a guy who hardly broke sweat last season because like a few others he downed tools, will be part of a 'sensational pairing'?

The guy shouldn't be anywhere near the first team, he's wanted away from CP since last summer and is a shadow of the player he was.

Like him, I really hope he gets his wish and fecks off down London Road before the end of this month.

You can see when wee Kyogo plays the amount of chances he'll get because of his movement in the box. Eddy just stands next to his marker or is always too slow to react to balls in the box and takes way too many touches he's been sussed out a little by defenders now. He has a tendency of late to hit it straight at the keeper too when it's a sitter, all of this wasn't part of his game when we won 9 in a row.

Edouard is like an energy black hole when he plays. Everything around him slows down. Thsres a noticeable difference in the forward dynamic when he's on.

Our play seems to slow right down when Eddy comes on I would keep Kyogo up front through the middle as his energy and passion are spreading through the team plus we seem to be getting the ball up the other end of the park a lot quicker.

If we'd sold Eddy last year, everyone would have went nuts! However, I can see him going next week, and will only wish him the best. That's football!

Christie, if he plays next week and goes missing (as he's done before in Old Firm matches) , would you offer him a new contract? Personally, I couldn't give a **** if he leaves!

We're doing well right now, but by no means should recent results in the league be a progress benchmark. Remember, we are only 2 wins, 1 loss. Moreover, AZ had their chances, and we're not through yet. It's a challenge, but even if we don't see it through, it doesn't define us. We are a work in progress, and there will be blips on the way.

We are still shaky in defense, and I would not be surprised to find us a goal down against AZ or them. That's the benchmark, how we react, how we respond, and can we respond. That's the measure! If we can go a goal behind and prevail, my optimism levels will definitely rise.

I still see the same defensive weaknesses. Our midfielders don't go into defensive mode quickly enough, we don't close down the space, and miss the runners. Our midfielders are too busy chasing the ball and not covering the space. It's a red mist when they lose the ball, and needs discipline! It's not as though they've just lost the ball to Diego Maradona!
