Although not the team I want to see after the transfer window, I reckon Ange has settled for this line-up in the meantime and to be fair they got a very good result on Thursday. Although many supporters reckon Welsh for Bitton all day long.

Turnbull has been woeful and Christie should be in, as for Welsh, we need better brought in asap. Neither him nor Bitton should be first pick if we seriously want to have a proper defence.

I feel our fans are far too fickle. Yeah Turnbull hasn't reached the heights of last year But he was incredible for us. Give the bhoy some time to play through it. Maybe he does need dropped for a game but I think given time playing he will adapt. Can't agree more on Welsh for Bitton tho. It's as if Ange is saying look I need another CB to Mckay. Welsh must be wondering WTF happened? He's not the finished article but gives his all. I really think he deserves a bit more respect.

Turnbull looked good in a bang average team last year and with Ange style of play I don’t think he has the energy levels required so far. Good player on his day same as Rogic but not consistent enough in my eyes to be picked over Christie who gives his all. Just wish he’d sign a contract soon then that’s another problem solved ðŸ€.

On the evidence we have seen Welsh should be in before both CH not just bitton there's no doubts about it.

Different setups suit different people last season McGregor and Christie was miles off it this season they're performing. Turnbull is best in the pocket behind the striker than in CM. Fair play to him putting in tackles on the edge of our box but that's not where he's effective. As soon as we start dominating games and he has the freedom to roam forward more he'll kick on but we're still a work in progress currently. I think he'll benefit when McCarthy gets in the team.
