I cannot emphasize enough the need for patience and belief in the new manager and Chief Exec. Today was not a shock result, but a reminder of the huge job we have given ourselves through several years of complacency and steady deterioration from the Invincibles through to the nine-in-a-row and quadruple treble champions, to last seasons shambles and fall of an empire; which was not a hiccup or slump that can be bounced back from, but a cumulation that's seen us decline and slip from dominance to 2nd best.
I was fortunate enough to see two full decades of dominance, which both ended for one reason or another. Glory hunters, we are not, Celtic fans need to be faithful and supportive, pulling in the same direction with vocal encouragement and passion for the team, or we just look like the good time Charlies of smaller clubs.

Biton is never a cb malky. did you see his lazy attempt at defending their 5th goal today . he's better off moving on . and forrest at rb c'mon malky have you just stole and drank all Enricos grape juice. as an aside the 3 central midfields are possibly our best 3 right now but I think they tend to play too far apart from each other it's sometimes like a 1 1 1 n a straight line rather than 3 working as
a unit .

Why play a centre back at left back? , why play a winger at right back?, I know it's old fashioned, and I know the book 'How to be a football manager for dummies ', that our best ever manager used to read, would disagree, but I would play four at the back, two full backs who were good at defending and two centre backs who were good at defending, in front of a goal keeper, who was good at stopping the ball going into the net, then four in the middle, any four out of Forrest, Calmac, Turnbull, Soro, Christie, Abada, and Robertson, depending on the opposition, with two up front, any two out of Furuhasi, Eddy, LG, Ajeti, again depending on the opposition, although I think we could do with signing a target man type of forward, similar to the role that Cosgrove played at Aberdeen, or Dykes did for Scotland, just to have on the bench, to bring on in certain situations.

We will win nothing and be no better than last season until a new goalie and two or three top class defenders are signed. the howe saga has definitely put us back with signings we've got a few weeks to sort it. It will be a miracle if we win on Wednesday and qualify for europa.

By playing guys out of position it goes to show how threadbare our squad is and maybe this is ange’s way of further emphasising this to the board. The length of time it’s taking us to source a decent RB is absolutely ridiculous, 2 years now. Knowing what’s required it’s absolutely frustrating how long it takes for Celtic to do business.
