@Mally the ages of these players concerned me too but think of the EURO's and all the young talented players playing there.
It is obvious that Ange wants ENERGY in his team and players wanting to prove a point, he will slowly get rid of the non triers from last season and replace them with highly motivated young talented players.

Totally sick of saying this but what is the matter with our support?
We don't sign anyone in the first week of McKay being in the job and people are moaning.
We sign a few guys and people moan about their age.
What age was Moussa and Edouard when they came in?
Would you rather sign a 30yr old who is looking for a last pay day or a 19/ 21 year old who is looking to build a career for themselves?
A lot of people complained that we never gave the younger boys a chance and when We finally have a manager who states he will give the younger players a chance people complain

Read the post, am happy we're bringing in players but a think a blend of experience is needed, every player linked apart from starfelt is under 20 and most of our so called wonder boys are well not wonder boys,

Jonboy mentioned 5 players - 2 of which will definitely stay at Celtic, Ajer wants to leave and Barkas and Bitton have been slaughtered heavily on this site. I’m sure folk will say they shouldn’t be in the team so yeah experience is needed but it’s all opinions at the end of the day.
Anyway only 6 days until the first game of the season, we will see where we are then!

Mally, if we did manage to get mooy, who would win the ball for them out of him Callum and turnbull . Not unless we are playing without wingers which ange supposedly doesn’t? Good player all the same but we definitely need a bit of bite in there especially if we were to play the Sevconians. We never had control of the midfield battle last season in one derby game.

I hear “age is just a number if they are good enough they will play†on this site all the time and that is a fact. We already have plenty senior guys in the squad. We need to improve that’s the real facts. Boey and Soppy would be instant improvements to our squad.

We definitely need 1 more CM with a bit of dig to play in the middle of the park, I like Soro but what if he gets injured or loses form we have nobody else.
