We've banked 18 mill since January, not many clubs cab say that during thus C.V., funny money really and we've spent 400 grand on 2 development players, we've got over 50.000 st holders and yet we still fluff about haggling for players, and we'll probably take the 2bd or 3rd choice due to money.

Celtics transfer policy will never change, no matter how disappointed the fans are with it.

These crazy wages have to stop, bring in a maximum basic wage, and a bonus system based on performance and results, no more paying mega wages for players to turn up and go through the motions on the field, forget about signing, big money divas, bring through young players and give them the opportunity and rewards on par with established players, if they perform well, make it a long term process, don't throw away money trying to get instant success.

There has to be a wage structure or it could just go to anarchy. Most clubs have a wage structure in place I can't see the board doing anything wrong in this instance apart from possibly not looking at what the player was on before trying to get him in.

mate were a week into the transfer window there is major international tourneys going on and pre season has juts started back in most country's. just because the club don't update everyday on who were are looking at does not mean things are not happening behind the scenes. its no like we go we want him there 5 mill and the player flys over and is at training the next day. football is all about money now and unless everybody is happy then the deal can not get sorted the selling club has to be happy the player has to be happy the players agent has to be happy and the buying club has to be happy with what there paying.
take this new lad we just signed the big centre back no one knew or herd anything about that it just happened it had been going on behind the scenes for a wile. and when you say haggling i suppose you are right every football transfer is haggled by every club.

I was under the impression tony that our top earners in recent times (in terms of the Clubs wage structure) was in the region of 25-30K per week e. g. Scott Brown.
The caveat here would be any players who went over that top bracket and DD gave them the extra out of his hip pocket.
FFP needs to be implemented in Scotland.

mally i think we will be down the line with a few defenders just now priority will be getting them in the door first and we will be using Edouard till near the end of the window new striker will come in to replace him round about the time he is leaving. ed have you herd anything that sounds like it will be definitely happening soon.
