was reading fabrizio romano twitter page and i came across what marco verrati says about signing ac milan keeper.
Marco Verratti 'confirms' Gigio Donnarumma to Paris Saint-Germain: "He deserves to join a top European club to have the ambition to win the Champions League. I'm happy to have Donnarumma as new team mate at PSG, he will help us a lot", Verratti says.
just shows with comments like that if you have money you are a so called giant now history and stature mean nothing. ac milan are a football giant and had one of the best teams i have ever saw PSG on the other hand have money that's all there nothing compared to milan as a football club.

I agree with the sentiment UI, AC Milan have just qualified for the champs league for the first time in 7 year right enough, unbelievable stat really.

Totally agree UI, Milan have had some wonderful players and teams across the decades, Baresi, Maldini, Costacurta, Papin and the three Dutch lads that were there in the late 80's were alright too.
Granted they may not be the Club they once were but no one can take away the 5 European Cups they've won!
Verratti is a clown for coming out with patter like that.

AC Milan have had incredible players over the decades.
Beckham, Weah, Kaka, Pato, Van the man Basten…, the list is bonkersly long. I could literally rattle off 40 or so. PSG and Man City are the same. Both have inferiority complexes.

You can only live off history for so long. The only way to win a CL these days is to spend obscene amounts of money so why have bitterness towards teams like City or PSG when they're only doing the same as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Man Utd? For some reason it seems to be more acceptable for the latter mentioned teams just because they also won European Cups 50/ 60 years ago.

kev my point was he was basically saying psg are a big club and milan are not.
all these teams are giants because of history a history that was achieved when football was actual football. you don't need to spend crazy money to win anything and Leicester are a brilliant example of that city and psg still haven't won the CL and look what they spend. if you have 11 players on the park who are fully committed and play as a team and battle for there badge as a team anything is possible. i would rather a player at the club because he wants to be there and to fight for the team rather than some one who is there for money.
