Evening All,
Why every time I come on here all I see is fighting and bickering between the fans? We have just appointed a new manager and have brought in a couple of players with hopefully plenty more on the way. Now is the time for ALL Celtic fans to come together and get behind the new manager and team! If you have a problem with the board or the way the club is run fair enough but let's get behind Big Ange and the team! HH.

I've never attended a protest at Celtic Park in my life, never Tweeted pictures of managers with red lines through them etc. but think the club has been managed way below its potential by a board who were probably too comfortable so I can understand the feelings of both sides of the argument. All I've seen since Ange walked in the door is positivity and everybody saying how impressed they've been with him and how well he comes across. Aren't the two things separate issues and is it not possible to support the team while still criticising the club's hierarchy?

No enterprise is perfect in all departments, you're either a fan who supports the club or you're not.

Yes Kev, but this latest Celtic Trust stuff is a disgrace. Many saw Lawwell in particular and Lenny to some degree as the main cause of last season's failure. They're both gone.
Dom McKay is a new guy with a new and modern approach. Ange has been brought in and he's giving good vibes for now. What more do the complainers want? I'm guessing the board have given McKay control and they're sitting in the background sanctioning his requests. Are you looking for a feckin dancing version of the board? It ain't gonnae happen. It doesn't happen at any football club or in any business.
Board members are at the top of the tree but they delegate everyday duties to trusted staff and it's the people with their ear to the ground and those who are involved in the football side who make the difference.
McKay and Ange are only through the door and these self-entitled gobshytes are having a go at the club. What's the reason for it? I can't see it however if we're still rubbish this time next year then I'll happily go along with the protests.
There are people in life who will protest for the sake of protesting. They will shout because they see an opportunity to shout but that doesn't mean that the shyt they're shouting makes any sense.
For feck sake Kev, give it a break and let's see what happens. HH.

Kev, be VERY specific and don't just spout out some nonsense, what exactly is it that you're unhappy with?
Give us the exact specifics of the inner workings of our club and it's finances that you're complaining about and not just a broad comment.
If you have genuine cause to be vocal about your concerns (which you're entitled to if you have good reason) then at least give us an accurate summary of what it is that you're unhappy with.
I think that's a fair question and I hope your answer is backed by personal factual knowledge and experience of how it can be 'fixed' to make it right. HH.

What exactly did the board do wrong,?, being too sentimental maybe in giving Lenny the job, maybe,
, not signing McGinn?, well he wouldn't have got a regular game because Brown had too be accomodated, sentimentality again, but at least that problems gone, keeping players that wanted away?, that might have been a mistake, but who knows, it might have turned out worse if certain players had been sold, buying inferior players?, or getting players in on loan, that were inferior?, every transaction is a gamble, I was one of the few on here that questioned Duffy coming in, everyone else seemed happy because he was Irish, others now want the board to go back to our roots by splashing their cash, on bringing in established players, I mean mercenaries, and paying them obscene wages, I would rather we went back to our roots by bringing our own young players through, and the board could donate the money they would have spent on the big name players wages, into food banks and community youth projects, ok, it might mean a few years in the wilderness, but the end result would be closer to our roots than what the protesters are rabbiting on about.

Christ almighty bestbhoy are you lennons ma in disguise? The club was run like a circus last year from missed targets, on field shambolic tactics, media meltdowns and a board that aimed to win the 10th title without any clear ambition, noticed not by a few but by the entire support, the board and management have been hailed for what we have achieved over a decade, remarkable, however last season was the single worst team I've ever watched, a team full of players that have won many trophies, there is no backing anyone for finishing that far behind them, and thank the heavens your not involved in the decisions being made because by the sounds of it you'd settle for a point in Dingwall, get yourself off the defensive and loom at how catastrophic last season was!
You've made a few decent points about certain things but with this your way way off the mark.
However new season, new manager, hopefully plenty new ambitious players and back to the top of the pecking order we go HH.

besty bhoy your are so right, he board who actually own celtic deserve the chance to put last year right and have made a start now the fans have to be patient, the trust or curve or gb just seem to be aggressive and want a confrontation, i guess that must suit somone.
