It'll be interesting to see if Ange automatically looks to the A-League and J-League for players he actually knows something about or if he looks primarily at the recommendations for Scottish/ British players.
Also, the fact that he's confirmed as manager and there is no confirmation of any coaching staff coming with him (if they were then they'd have been agreed and announced along with him by now) would suggest that the current coaching staff at Celtic are going to play a big part in his team. HH.

Besty I think there is definitely a player or two to be picked up in these markets, couple of rapid full backs and a CM for starters would do me. These guy's if you can get them early usually don't cost the earth either.

I thought it was strange too that no backroom staff were mentioned. You’d think accepting a job at that level with the expectations that go along with it (hopefully) that the man would want his own men behind him that he trusted.

In my opinion the best available in our price range is Lewis Ferguson. He ain't the finished article but he looks like he has all the necessary attributes to grow into the role. HH.

The lack of a mention of backroom staff for me is a very real worry - if the board have brought in Ange and said you're taking the Chuckle Bros as part of your coaching team (in ANY capacity) then it's a shambles that will likely backfire.
As has been mentioned already, the board over the past few seasons, last season in particular, have been a disgrace.
It would reinforce the fact that he's 2nd choice (or worse) and already agreed to start his coaching career at Celtic with one hand tied behind his back.
If big nose and etcher sketch are waiting at Lennoxtown to greet him then it's a bad and unacceptable joke.

Laurel and Hardy showed everyone their severe limitations last season and their over-familiarity with the players that remain is toxic.
Any new manager should always bring his own backroom staff and I am well aware of the unfamiliarity with Scotland, but thee must be much better equipped and useful ex-Celts who can advise?

He is being employed as a manager, not a talent scout, I hope he concentrates on British and Irish players, the thing about Australian players is the amount of time they might have to spend away on international duty.
