If the reports are true that big Ange is coming on a one year rolling contract, that smacks to me of the last Cheapskate act of Lawwell.
Why on earth would a manager, any manager fly round the world, uprooting his family IF he could be gone in 12 months.
This Board just astonish me.

Every manager of the last 20 years has always started on a 1 year rolling contract. Think Rodgers got permanent contract after 1 season, which is unusual at Celtic.
My point is I would not place much importance on this. As much as I like to berate the board, this is not something deserving of criticism in my view.

why would he turn a job as big as celtic down tim. BR was on a 12 month rolling contract to start with.

All the Celtic managers since at least the Martin O’Neill days, have all started on one year rolling contracts.
I think only Brendan was offered a fixed term contract after his first season.

Just seen a lawell quote that they have been tracking him for years. in that case this appointment makes sense now. stinks off desperation and a middle finger to the fans. I have to be honest I will get behind the team. but this appointment does not thrill me.

Aussie Ray, I think a lot of fans will be in the same boat as me when I say I will be giving Big Ange my total backing, absolutely 100%, and I pray that he will be up to the job and bring lots of success to our club for many years to come.
But I'm still a little bit sceltical and somewhat underwhelmed by his appointment. HH.

Aussie Ray. I will back him to the hilt. but like deep river boy says if we have been tracking him for years why has it taken this long. and when he said he had been working on transfers with mckay the board oh and lawwell that scared me but I will back the man. he has to hit the ground running.
