Always liked Ajer as a player - but not as a Centre Half as he is still making the same basic errors he did when he started there? Mentioned in a post at the end of our final game that I would not miss most of the current squad for one reason or another, with obviously several loans sent back (tied in a bow) , malcontents would be offski and others like Bitton, Rogic and Griff. Also Jullien and Ajeti, who contributed zilch for differeb=nt reasons can also go.
Apart from a complete overhaul of the squad, we really need a first class 'keeper as a decent last line who can actually save a shot or command his area.

Ajers only confirmed one of the worst kept secrets in football. We’ve known awe season he wanted out so he can go along with any other player not wanting to be there and uninterested. This season must start afresh from management team right through the playing squad. We can’t afford another season with playing players that clearly don’t want to be there. None of the “ so called “ big players on our books and on last seasons performances aren’t replaceable.

Ill miss Ajer, as he showed loads of passion, he seemed to love playing for us. He has stayed with us as long as any decent player we get now will, and probably longer than most. In saying all that he is by no means irreplaceable . Alhough he had great pace he was often caught out positionally, and maybe he does need to move to a better league to become the player he could be. By all accounts Leo hjelde was playing well, so possibly give him a try .
Ajer definitely won’t be the last though as we all know it will be like rats of the sinking ship. He never downed tools last season so I presume we will all wish him well. The inevitable restructuring is starting, we just need to get our side sorted, and quickly .

I don’t blame Ajer for wanting to leave.
Charlie Mulgrew was our last left footed CB and he left in 2016.
That was the same season that big Kris came to our club.
So he’s basically been made to play on the left side, since he joined Celtic.
I believe it’s been good for his development as a player.
But for Celtic to get the best from Ajer,
I think he would’ve been better playing, in his more comfortable and natural right sided position.
I think Ajer will go on to play at the highest level of his profession and also Captain his country.

I wish him the best of luck with his career Sad that he is going but I don't blame him.
