Gordon Strachan doesn't half talk some amount of gash. His statement regarding board don't need to give fans an update on manager situation is an absolute howler.
Many fans are season ticket holders and own a stake in club through share issues. We have an unquestionable right to know what's happening and how season ticket funds will be reinvested.
Gordon Strachan seems to have a bad case of sour grapes in respect of his son being critised by fans and his most likely departure this summer.

Nah wee GS is a Celtic man he sticks up for the club a lot and gets a raw deal from sections of the support he inherited the messiahs mess and managed toget us to the 2nd round of the champs league while cutting the squad

Campsiebhoy what he achieved in the past doesn't give him the right to critise fans for wanting an update on who next manager will be and when.
Remember these are the same fans who paid his wages when he did achieve the success he achieved at club.

The club will tell us nothing until it’s all signed and sealed for talking sake let’s say it is Howe (personally I don’t think it will be) and he is waiting on his contract finishing in the summer, IF he’s agreed a deal before it finishes what’s to stop his previous club seeking payment from Celtic?! Could be far fetched but with all the legalities of contracts these days nothing would surprise me, hence the reason we won’t come out and say “ we have agreed a deal in principle†with whoever! I’m as desperate as the next fan to see who our new man is but realise that we won’t release no update until it’s the official announcement.

Rumours WGS was being offered a role under the new regime. If so wouldn't surprise me if that's why he has been backing the board recently.

Campsiebhoy I've said a few times before on this that possibly he could have a release clause in his contract, however that does not prevent a statement as to what is happening and if it is howe if it will be summer!
The fans have every right to want to know what's going on, especially if club is expecting fans to dig deep for season ticket renewals.
