Bobby Madden will be the referee for our cup game at Ibrox next Saturday.
I'm quite happy with that appointment because he's better than the usual suspects.
I wanted Nick Walsh or Don Robertson to be given a chance but they will referee the Glasgow 2 this weekend.
I'm just happy it won't be Beaton because I feared he would give them their best chance of scoring, from constant free kicks in dangerous positions to put pressure on our defence.

I agree Madden is the best of a horrendous lot of the usual hand-picked few, although he can have his moments as we have seen before. I wonder, also if red-card Ross will be at his second home? Bottom line as always is turn-up and play to our full potential, but we are (unusually this past while) , on a wee run of games without a win against them and a positive announcement might have given a boost?

Tory Ross will not be the linesman on this occasion.
One of the linesmen officiated in his first Sevco victory against Celtic in 7 games in the C. V game at Celtic Park in October.
The other linesman also officiated in his first Sevco victory against Celtic in 4 matches, in the recent New Year game at Ibrox. ( one win,2 draws and one defeat ) .
This will be his 5th Glasgow Derby and his 4th in a row in which Madden has been the referee. was the referee in his first Glasgow Derby.
Looks like a Double Act.
