When someone is available and they are "valued/ trusted/ respected" then it stands to reason there will be many suitors. That being the case speed is of the essence and if you snooze you lose. Hopefully we are not found sleeping at the wheel if Howe is our No1 target. We have been burned before by doing this, many times.

I think if howe wasn't coming why would celtic and howes reps mot just kill the story, there's has to be substance in this Imo.

As far as I know Howe wants to bring in his own DoF Celtic have/ had their own man in mind and feel that it would be putting all the eggs in one basket as if Howe leaves more than likely will take the DoF with him and leave Celtic up against it again. That could be all bull but that is what I have seen.

The reason Celtic don't kill the story is it's free publicity. Celtic have never killed any story including rangers problems because they need as much money as possible and every team in the league to do well as it makes more money with a full league.

If they had to respond to every claim it woukd be a full-time job. They could let us know when they are actually speaking to someone at an advanced level. That way we woukd be able to dismiss all the rubbish we have to out up with. They won't obviously, so every rumour is used by bookies to fleece mugs out of their money.

They are always very silent on these things. I suppose you can't say your looking at x, in case he knocks it back and then you offend y. Then we end up with z (Kennedy lol) . I just hope the get the whole structure right. The background team while be important too. I just hope they are look at it like us fans.
