Lots of speculation in the last 24 hours over Eddie Howe. What isn't speculation is the fact that he has now officially held talks with the club. Interesting to see that Dom McKay is also involved in the discussions which would suggest that he is more active than some may think prior to his official start date.
Also talk of Richard Hughes as DOF. That could be still be pure speculation seeing as he has worked with Howe before and it's easy as well as convenient for the media to make two new stories out of one.
As with any rumour the golden rule is to sit tight until we have definite news.
We all want something concrete and whilst the cement mixer sounds like it is ticking over it clearly isn't ready to pour out the finished product just yet but it will. Soon. HH.

Bar any issues in the discussions it's now clear Howe will be our man soon. what I am surprised about is if reports are true he's keeping Kennedy and Strachan on especially when his no 2 for a long time to Tindal is out of work.

Good post Besty, your view is always calm and balanced.
I've also read a report (hopefully speculation) that Howe wants his pal and former teammate, Hughes as D. O. F. or Sporting Director (same job) , IF this was the case then for me, it's a mistake and a basic one.
Why, I see the role of D. O. F as being more important to the Club in the long term than that of the Manager. We should be putting in place a footballing structure, a blue print (no pun intended) that will last for years and years to come.
As for the Chuckle Bros (Kennedy and Strachan) remaining in ANY capacity at the Club, is IMHO, not right. They should both go at the end of this season.

Kennedy and stevie woods were kept by br and that worked out not too bad, not to bothered about Kennedy staying as there's going to be a massive clear out of players and howe has a rep as a hands on coach they'll do as they're told.

Definitely Liam, Managers coming into a new club have always brought in their own coaching staff.
