I bought my family home off my brothers and sisters. I'm here ard a year now. I was up in the attic and found a box belonging to me when I was younger Pedro ard 30yrs ago. Found all my old Celtic kits vintage ones now. Any old duvet set (which my wife won't let me use now. And the Packie Bonner story book and vcr tape both I got signed by Packie Bonner when Celtic came to play Cork City ina preseason in 1992. I remember clearly going with my late father. So happy to find them as they were present my dad bought me for xmas. It was all things Celtic.

I’m happy for you Paul.
It must bring back loads of memories of your childhood.
And it could possibly be handed down to any little ones.

Precious memories unseen angels
Sent from somewhere to my soul
How they linger ever near me
As the sacred past unfolds.

Superb cork Paul, I have quite a few of my old kits still, as well as programmes my dad gave me going back to the 70s. The 1 thing I'm gutted I don't have is my Celtic bomber jacket from the late 80s early 90s (I think) , used to wear all the time thinking I was cool as fook lol
Also have a Kenny dal book which he's signed too, which was my mums.
Wish I had the duvet although like yours mine wouldn't let me use it either, doesn't go with the colour scheme Haha.

I'm over the moon lads. Did know my Dad had put them away all those years ago. Happy memories. Feel very grateful today. As they say someone is watching over us and I believe that is my Dad. With my operation been so serious at the start of your you always believe your loved one's are with you. And I felt that today.

My wife said the same Bigshaw colour scheme 🤣🤣🤣.

That's really cool Paul especially considering they were a present from your Dad.

Reminds me of a story my wife told me when she was over in Donegal one time, a few years ago and was walking up by the golf course called Cruitch Island, right on the Atlantic. She was with my late father-in-law (lifelong Celtic supporter) , her Papi (legend) , her Sister and her future Brother-in-law (a Sevconian) when they came across a couple of gents playing golf.

They duly waited as one of the men was about to hit his shot but he must have heard them and turned around looked down at the future brother-in-law and said 'walk on' in that Donegal lilt, waiving him forward.

It was none other than big Packie himself and brought more than a smile to the faces of all there except the future brother-in-law, who's face was a picture.

Brilliant cork Paul, the memories of family and Celtic are interlinked and it's good to be able to look into the past, especially with such treasures.
Pedro great story about big packie, a great keeper n has to be in our top 5 of all time.
