Just my opinion, I hope we stay away from the Irish connection when hiring our new manager. Wouldn't like to see Roy Keane or Michael O Neill get the job. As an Irish man myself I think we can do a lot better than thoses players. Michael O Neill a fomer league of Ireland manager for me doesn't have the experience to handle a big club and the demands of the club. Roy keane well the name just says it all. Just my opinion. I would like to see Eddie Howe.

im not to keen on Howe after one off the eds says he can't set a defence up. hope DD pulls something big out the bag and announces it on the day they wrap the title up he has previous for stunts like that when we announced BR.

The guessing, second-guessing and fake news is very frustrating.
I can appreciate the club will choose their time to announce their man, but I sincerely hope it's worth the wait; however, whoever we get, it will not please everyone; but I'd settle for 95% approval.

Agree United Ireland, I just hope we don't do a cheep option and announce a big name for manager and DOF and bring the fear factor back.

I was thinking that also. As that would deflect the attention away from them. To make it worse, would be having the new manager in the stand.

Don't underestimate the talent of Michael O'Neill. He's from my home town. I know many who know him although I never met him. He has a very strong belief in his own ability. He has the same ruthlessness nature that Rodgers had and maybe with a better boss than Lawwell he would could make his own decisions. He's more talented than many give him credit for. He took a NI team of average players and made them believe they were feckin superheroes. HH.

Just watching the Liverpool v Chelsea game. The one touch football is a joy to watch. Would love to see Celtic play like that instead players who think they are better than they are run with the ball. Always remember the ball moves faster than any player.
Never be afraid to pass the ball back as it is not defending, it is starting a new attacking move.
