Celtic TV has been like PRAVDA all season but there was a bit of dissent today. Why only now? The female commentator asked 'What was the point of Neil resigning if John Kennedy changes nothing? ' Fair point.
Strachan said JK needs to forget what went before and stamp his own ideas on team. He also asked what kind of change do Celtic as a club want? Decide the style of football we want to play then go find the manager that plays that style. He didn't sound like he thought for one second that JK was a long term solutions Fair point.
Stubbsie said JK needs to stamp his mark on the team over the remaining games to stake his claim as a contender for the job. Fair point but I can't see it and obviously at odds with Strachan.
As i said though the strange thing was the dissent and their didn't appear to be a party line any longer. Why? Why now? What's changed? Why was what we were watching beyond criticism previously?

Kennedy looks like he'd rather be anywhere else in the world right now to me. I've always got that impression from him that he's disinterested or maybe that's just his normal demeanor?

Kennedy probably knows that he has no chance of getting the Celtic job but he should use these next games to show other clubs what he can do instead of just carrying on the same crap that Lennon put us through.

Jonbhoy I think jk showed us what he can do today, that may be the problem.
For me we miss too many chances and don't kill teams off early and that is down to the players, yeh tactics, game plan etc can be worked on but Strachan hit the nail on the head when he mentioned mentality and you have to want it, want to do and be better and I think too many are and have been going through the motions. It would appear that we supporters lifted many of these players the way only the Celtic support can, which some can't do on their own.
But I still feel not enough effort has been put in, can't blame the manager for Christie's/ eddy's miss against Ross county, ajeti hitting the post against them in the league cup game and there are many more I could go through but I'd rather not.
I'm with jfp on this 1, feel it's weird timing so not sure if the girl presenter is not worried about repercussions as lawell is on the way out, or there has been a change of stance in terms of who may come in and who isn't getting the job, JK?
Who knows but if shes not on the next game we will know why lol.
