I see McManus has been temporarily promoted from the development squad to assist Kennedy and this had me asking myself a question.
I know that many will say that when a manager goes then the entire backroom should go with him. If that were the case then Kennedy and Strachan must just be keeping the seats warm until the season's over.
Here's my question: Does McManus fall into the category of 'must gos'? Or is he sufficiently well thought of that he may stay?
Who else behind the scenes is a 'must go' and who is a 'must stay'? HH.

When a manager is sacked its usually just him and his assistant and not the youth academy coaches.
The club also announced that Lennon resigned not sacked, in these circumstances its usually the incoming manager/ head coach who decides gets kept on from the previous regime.

Strachan must go and Kennedy can stay as long as he steps back from first team and focus on youth development. If he is not prepared to do that, then he must go as well.

Kennedy's contract doesn't expire until 2075 so the chances are he'll be around a while.
