Great to hear. The young man looks a proper defender and great to see a lad come through the ranks.

Yep he looks the part but most of us said that as far back as the first sevco game but couldn't get in despite comedy defending. not the biggest but gets away with it.

My brother in law said his dad was also a good footballer.
He came from Langloan which you’ll know was Phil Coles’s territory.

It was indeed BB 👍.

Been on Phil coles buses a few times. My bus was St Mary’s club Whifflet just down from the Big Tree bar.

The lad looks very much like the " no nonsense " defender we were looking for all season. But we spent money on one that hasn't work while he was under there noses all season. Bit like soro and Turnbull.

I think my dad was a committee man in the late 70s but he started running the bus from 1982.
Whifflet St. Mary’s was one of the oldest supporters clubs which ran from 1947 until 2010.

Buzz Bomb one of my brothers is married to one of the Brady’s from St John st.

I remember playing pool in the games room in Mrs Brady’s house with my cousins who stayed across the road.

I left Coatbridge buzz in 1982. My cousins still live there though. 4 lassies though, all their husbands are Celtic mad. They were from Kirk st, langloan, king st and Townhead. I was dragged up in Greenside street in sunnyside.

My mum grew up in Kirk Street, the best street in Coatbridge.
They still like to decorate the street in big games.
