I always thought there was a player in Jack Hendry when I first saw him.

I always thought he was good with the ball at his feet.
But he can’t defend.
Hendry’s positional sense is poor, he is also poor at tackling, Jack is not strong enough in an aerial tussle and he constantly loses his man at set pieces.

Dont no where the good with ball at feet comes from. Whenever I saw him he took so long on the ball then ended up falling over it. Our record when he played was abysmal. Worse than laxalts record.

Not watched him lately. don't know much about Belgian football. Maybe what I would imagine is a slower more technical league suits him better. Would be open to him coming back and proving me wrong. Think if he is doing so well and they have an option to buy they will though.

There are at least 2 epl sides interested and a couple of German sides also interested apparently, I just think due to injuries he was maybe thrown into the side when he wasn't quite ready for it. Some players are allowed to make mistakes and some aren't and are hounded by the fans, him being the former. Perhaps the time away to develop without the pressure to win every game and make no mistakes has done him the world of good. I can remember Celtic fans saying the same stuff about Calmac and Christie last few years, many Celtic fans on here even calling Soro a 2m dud without even seeing him play. Same people now saying he is fantastic player, my own personal opinion is it would definitely be worth bringing him back to have a look.

Burnley are trying to sign him and diches teams are built on defending . he couldn't be any worse than what we've seen this season.

at the end of the day that's what he is out on loan for to get a run of games and see what that does to his form and gain confidence which it looks to have done that's why you send players out on loan, that will only benefit us, if he's back so rather than supporters calling for him to be brought back during his loan spell let him keep doing what he's doing and see where it takes us whether that's receiving a good fee or getting a better improved player both benefits us but i agree that his game would have had to have come on a good bit because you can only go on what we have seen in a celtic top and it wasn't good enough.
