Question. In a normal season with a full celtic park, would any of this have happened or is it a field day for the board as they know they've really got us over a barrel atm?

Gerry I think no fans has adversely affected Celtic more than any other club in Scotland other than financially. (1) we are the teams 12th man we all know the atmosphere that can be created at Celtic Park that puts half a yard on a man wearing a green and white jersey (2) it has worked in their favour because the serial bottlers have struggled with the people on their backs during games in previous seasons but haven’t had to contend with that this season and (3) yes I think Kim Jong-un Lawell and the board have used it to maximum effect and it has allowed them an unchallenged field day as you suggest. It was cash up front this season but our day will come.

excuses, excuses, excuses, we've always got one, the fact is we are rank rotten from top to bottom, celtic bought the players picked the manager, picked the coaches, celtic chose to buy disco lights celtic chose to go to Dubai, no one else got us into the mess. it will take more than a few months and a few transfer windows to get a decent team back on the pitch so don't expect an easy ride next season.

{Ed007's Note - You do know Celtic had to improve their lighting system to keep up with UEFA Stadium Regs so spent the extra money to get the best available, or would you rather they scrimped and scraped, went with the cheapest option only to need to replace them in a couple of years or play CL/EL games away from Celtic Park?
Let's not make a mountain out of a molehill with doomsday scenarios, it could just as easily take a week at most to turn the Club around if the board are willing to make the big decisions, it doesn't take years and umpteen transfer windows to appoint a new CEO, DOF and coaching staff.
A new manager/coach right now would drastically improve things in a matter of days to organise the team and drill the defence.}

The Celtic Park Atmosphere is world famous and has been a huge loss.
I think the support would have influenced and motivated the players, although it's fair to say, we have notoriously been underprepared in previous CL qualifiers and history may well have repeated itself; supporters or not. As well as giving obvious vocal support, there would have been criticism where needed in the case of some players.
It may even have led to Turnbull and Soro playing sooner? Who knows?
As far as the other incidents go:- Bolingoli, The International C.V.s and isolations and ssshhhh don't mention Dubai; The support would have been powerless to influence events.

I would have rather they spent some money on the lights but most of it on transfers and getting a manager that had the same knowledge of football that Rodgers had but instead they get Lennon back who did nothing at Bolton
And also hibs even last season you could see this was coming as Lennon hasn’t got a clue about tactics formations why has it took us half a season to start playing well?

{Ed007's Note - It wasn't just the lights that were upgraded but yeah we should have bought another Bayo and fiddled the lecky 🤦‍♂️ Upgrading to the system we have cost £2.3 million but wee Boab from The Drum says he's been growing green for years and could have got them up to UEFA Regs for £1.8 million, who would you have signed for that £500k?
And what happens in another couple of years when we would need to upgrade the stadium again? People would moan about why Lawwell scrimped and scraped the last time.}

Lights aren’t the issue fk me buying projects in the hope of making money instead of players to come straight in has. Tho with Lennon in charge I think even busquets would’ve struggled to displace brown. Seriously tho team selection and formations have been shocking no player improvement and the arrogance of expecting to win. Was blatant to see after cluj Lennon was clueless then a year later ferencvaros same scenario that’s when blame shifts to the board fact he survived he knew he was untouchable. Money in the bank sounds great till you realise it’s our money. Get them all to fk.

Speaking of a striker shortage and Bayo I'm surprised he hasn't been recalled. He isn't getting a game after all. But would that rule him out of going out on loan again?

my points been missed the excuses for the state we are
in is wrong and cowardly, celtic fault and i mean that as a club a unit, from top to bottom we have not performed in the position they are paid to do and its not anybodies fault but celtics and until the club excepts that and deals with we will stutter along, ed imo it will take longer than a few months to get ceo and manager and staff and players that will buy into the new guy's system, i know we can appoint any of these but they have to be better than what's there just now.

{Ed007's Note - If it's going to take longer than a few months then we aren't appointing the right people or signing the right players. How long did it take Wim Jansen, MON and Brendan Rodgers to improve things?}
