Mally for someone whose delivery is poor taylor is our 2nd top in assists and if eddy had put away any of the 3 balls he crossed onto his toe we would've won the final without extra time . maybe laxalt/ milan have a clause for a certain amount of game time? But wasnt he the lb saviour until he was found out as average at best . maybe lennon still believes this hype . the fact that taylor is small is nonsense to bring into it .

It's about opinions if your happy with Taylor great fill your boots. i personally want better. the height thing is more about defending the back post that's all . and his final ball is poor like frkmpong for the amount if times we are up the park we should be scoring more.

Mally while I admit that Taylor isn't the best going forward although he is Ok, he is a very decent left back. He runs and tackles all day and never complains, he is a decent honest professional player. And I have no problems at all with him being in our squad.

Mally I'd replace the whole team if we could get better . the fact is you're right its about opinions and no matter what good aspects taylor brings to the team and other people see he seems to be you're scapegoat for all that's wrong . but as you say it's about opinions . as an aside . nl doesn't put a player on the back post and we have suffered cos of it .

Agree JFP. If Taylor was playing that goal wouldn't have a scored. My issue with yesterday was frimpong and laxalt pushing up the wings and the first long over our defence and we are exposed. It's wrong to play these two players on our lwb position as they are very poor in making defensive decisions, when one goes up the other should cover. Just my opinion. Taylor is a defender and you have a week back line as it is. Why did Lennon drop him, when he played so well in last couple of games.

Agreed CP I think Neil played both to press and take the game to them which is fair enough it nearly paid off. My choice would have been Taylor at left back and Ajer at right back but big Julie Anne’s injury effectively put paid to that idea. We paid the price when Biton gets turned and Laxalt is nowhere to be seen.

Maybe he thinks Laxalt has a sexier name, remember this is a man who for a few months was picking Ntcham over Turnbull when every man and his dog could see that Ntcham's heart wasn't in it.

Lennon wasn't picking Turnbull or Soro either, I think Taylor is easily the best left back at Celtic, gets up and down the wing and can defend, can't understand this anti Taylor rhetoric.

Taylor is a decent LB, he's no world beater but does a good job defensively.
Ideally, Id like him on the bench as back to our future starting LB.

Neil Lennon had been watching David Turnbull and Ismaila Soro in training when the team was crying out for changes or some sort of spark. He like many at Celtic failed to act. A bang average rangers team have taken advantage so far. Still hoping their bottle will crash.
