There are a number of supporters who are behaving like an ostrich with their head in the sand.
Whilst we are showing a lot of weaknesses our main oppenents are playing with flair, style and a smile on their faces something we would be delighted with.
We need a right back, a left sided centre back{ something we have required since Van dyke left} wingers for both sides { again something we have needed since NL decided to release the backups we had when he arrived]
We have changed our signing policy under NL from buying youth and develop them for resale too one of trying to fit in older supposedly expericed ones.
Get you heads out of the sand and smell the reallity.

The reality is we're are you getting 4 players from in November?

Until January we are stuck with what we have and even now we have Frimpong and Forrest unavailable for some time.
Mikey Johnston may be available soon? However it's not just a lack of really good wide men that's a problem - our delivery from crosses free kicks and corners is well below par with Griff, El Hamed and maybe McGregor the few with consistently good delivery?
However, El Hamed and Griff rarely even start a match leaving Christie - who needs his own ball at times - overhitting cross after cross or shooting on sight (like Commons used to do) .
Yesterday started with a much better tempo and variety of play and we created more chances - scoring four; so it's an improvement.
Last Transfer Window seems to have caused more problems than it solved, leaving us with unsettled, huffy players and failing to address vitally lacking positions with permanent class signings. None of that was the manager's fault and although I have had my say on his managerial flaws, he is being hampered, hindered and hung out to dry from within; both from above and below and that's unacceptable at any time - but in this season of all seasons!

Personally I would leave the malcontents in the stand or training with the youngsters, but injury and CV decimated the squad.
This International Break brings more worries and concerns and I wish we didn't have to risk players after so many issues last time; but they go to their 'Country Bubble' and all we can do is wait and hope, then assess the squad and carry on until January.
At the moment all we can do is improve, while Sevco have already hit their peak; First, forget The EL and concentrate on domestic dominance as we have done since the birth of TRIFC 2012.

Jonace apparently Simunovic left because he can't play in the cold. I know it sounds daft but cold agitates a problem he has. Should of kept Hayes though.

I reckon we will sign a left sided CB in January, whether its too late is the question.

I would happily let eddy leave in January if we got someone else in. Really think we missed a bargain in Lyndon Dykes.

We should batter into the free (likely for good reason) agents championship manager style My opening bid ballotelli, nasri and Ahmed Musa.

Good post CM. Phil we have enough moody players without adding Balotelli though I do have a soft spot for him. Could have been world class if his attitude was on point.

philtim88 Dykes seriously nowhere near the class of Griffiths or Edouard what do you base signing him on .

It’s been frustrating watching Celtic this season because I think we’ve got a better squad than we had this time last year.
It’s exactly a year since we won in Rome and only Forster and Hayes are missing from the starting lineup.
Also Bauer came on in the last minute just in time for the winner.
There’s no doubt Forster is a massive loss but I think Frimpong and Laxalt are an upgrade on Bauer and Hayes.
We’ve also got guys like Rogic Griffiths and Ajeti who never played in Rome.
I don’t understand why it’s went downhill when we’ve added to practically the same squad.
Having a better squad shouldn’t be a disadvantage.
We’ve tried to keep continuity similar to our rivals on the Southside but presently they seem to be the only club benefiting.

Forster was never going to stay as he's in it for the money. he's happy to sit in the stand every week picking up about 70k.

a fantastic post celtic mad and the simple answer to that buzz in my opinion is some players acting like spoilt brats wanting away.

Anyone fancy Dembele's brother, who is banging them in down South. It might help him sign a new contract.

Oldkilly I'm basing my opinion on fact he caused us and other teams in league enough problems over the years, doing well at QPR in championship and doing well for Scotland. I don't know what anyone else would want in a striker.

Also he is very good at holding ball up and the goals would come in barrel loads from Ajeti and Griffiths.

Edouard does not look interested at all, can't remember last time he scored and to be honest starting Griffiths would be a far better option.

philtim88 Dykes has scored 3 goals for QPR this season all penalties he scored 11 for Livingston of which 2 were penalties hardly prolific for a striker, but you are entitled to your opinion just like everyone on this site.

We should've kept Hayes. If nothing else his face might've kept the C.V. at bay. We're going to come through this and we'll be champions again.
