Every Rangers fan I know since we made the appointment has said we will implode with NL in charge, it is happening before my very eyes.

NL is not going to turn this round

They on the other hand are going from strength to strength, all good things come to an end. The sad thing is it didn't need to be this way, I put it down to complacency from PL and the board.

royjac mate. lawell has screwed every penny from the supporters this season and has no intention of spending anything else. he knows we will turn up next season regardless of the outcome of this one. and if it goes tits up he will point the finger at lennon. DD needs to act fast and get rid of the lot of them otherwise 10iar imho is gone.

The complacency has been there from the birth of TRIFC 2012 and even before that we were notorious for not building from a position of strength and also replacing star players with poor imitations; plus missing out on decent players with low-ball, haggling and hesitation.
Add to that a downgrade in manager from the previous and here we are.

I just can't understand why the board have not acted before now it's been clear since last Christmas that Lenny is not the man for the job. Yet he is still manager for me it's so clear and so frustrating The board have to be taken to task for this in my opinion. Getting embarrassed in Europe and getting absolutely pumped by what is our closest rivals in the league last three times what more proof does the board need for a change?

07 Nov 2020 10:13:23
Yeah we lost to them last December but then went on a long winning streak which won us the league. Now I think Lennon should go asap but I think you have to give him his due for getting us 9 in a row.

Looking at the financial results recently released and its clear we aren't going to spend much and are much more likely to sell to balance the C.V. effect. I think tomorrow's result will be the deciding factor.

07 Nov 2020 10:30:29
Sorry I don't Henrik we won the league last year because they imploded it was nothing we done apart from win the games against the other clubs At Christmas after they ran all over us they were in the lead at Christmas we never played them again after that. Put it this way what other club would have a manager in charge that continuously get hammered by their nearest rivals and still keep the manager in charge? Europe enough said about our fiasco in that I might be the minority but Lennon is and never has been the answer to us getting 10Iar.

Lennon proved his doubters wrong last season by only dropping 10 league points in 30 league games.
Celtic were the much better side over the course of the season and it had nothing to do with Sevco imploding.
Lenny was also on course for a domestic treble.
This season is the opposite.
The players are simply not playing for him and we are a long way off to where we need to be to compete for 10 In A Row.
The big question now is who do we bring in to replace Lenny.

07 Nov 2020 11:25:03
Do you really think Lenny is or was the man for the job buzz? Was the performances against Rangers last year satisfactory or indeed this year? Our performances in the CL or Europe this year was that satisfactory? Every one is entitled to their opinion and I respect everyones opinion on here the players we have you would think we would only lose 10 points in a season but getting absolutely humiliated 2 times last year and the same this year is totally unacceptable Thursday was just on another level surely it can't go on.

I really think me missed a trick in not getting Moyes when we had the chance, I also think the young manager Potter we were getting linked with would have been a good appointment. Sadly both those ships have sailed now. Stevie Clarke I think would have done a job too but openly admitted he didn't want the job.
I think Dan Petrescu would be a good appointment as we could probably get him to leave where is now with not much hassle, obviously Eddie Howe is unemployed so he has to be in the frame but I'm not convinced about him myself.
We have to be realistic in who we can get and who we can't get.

Tony
I wanted Lennon to take Celtic to 10 In A Row and then move on and I think that was also the plan by Lawwell.
Domestically last season Celtic were brilliant and no one can take that away from Lenny.
But I’ve got to agree with you about the Sevco games and European games and that can’t continue.
When Lenny and his staff come up against decent opposition, they are found wanting.
I actually thought he would turn it around especially with a good run of home games coming up in December and January but after the European game on Thursday, it’s obvious the players don’t want him there.
I think we should bring someone in to replace Lennon whilst all is not lost in our domestic game.

Hi buzz mate you and the family keeping well? . i fear lawell will wait until it is too late and if we blow 10iar he will need to leave the country. He will be public enemy No 2 next to the rat rogers.

07 Nov 2020 16:33:16
We’re all keeping well Rob. I hope all is good on your side.
We all agree that Celtic have the players to win the league but if Lennon can’t make them gel, then we need to replace him and get someone in who can get the best out of our players.
The only difference so far is our Derby defeat but I agree if we don’t change it soon Rob, it could become too late.

07 Nov 2020 17:14:14
nobody has mentioned that lennon himself said he would keep rodgers plan and actions in place. we strolled it. this season its lennons ideas from the get go and we are mince?

07 Nov 2020 17:42:49
Gerry 100% correct Buzz I agree with you 100% also I do think he has lost the dressing room we have by far the better players but it's clear they don't want to play a lot off the changes he makes when not needed is so baffling also.

08 Nov 2020 00:01:52
Why would anyone care what a Rangers fan thought. KTF.

08 Nov 2020 00:04:04
If we are going to change the manager then we can't go for a cheap option.
We need someone who can organise a team, especially the defence (how we have ended up with Frimpong and Duffy in there is a joke) they wouldn't get a game for a Junior team, they are costing us goals).

We need someone with a high profile, who will make players fitter, better, gain respect and accept no nonsense.

Someone who can negotiate us through to the money spinning Champions League.
Step forward Rafa Benitez. He may not come, but ask him, offer an acceptable salary. In short, spend the money on a decent manager instead of wasting it on players like Duffy.
