Someone can make themselves a hero on Saturday. We can still cobble a team together to win.
They are also missing key players. aribo roofe maybe barisic.
Big decisions for NL but if we come out with a win they will be in meltdown.

{Ed007's Note - I put them up earlier but now without Elhamed and other questions like is Ajeti fit and how fit are LG and Edouard it's a bit of a struggle. I'd still start with a 4-5-1 to make sure we win the midfield battle.

The only decision for me is who to start up front and hopefully we've got plenty of options from the bench.
In saying that I don't expect NL to do that and he will go with 4-2-3-1 or 3-5-2 even though we know the former doesn't work and that in a 3-5-2 Frimpong at RWB will be exposed by Ryan The Kant on the their left wing.
If NL gets it right it will be a comfortable win and if he gets it wrong it will just be the normal struggle and a late win for us.}

Totally agree ed. NL needs to pick the right team, formation because he hasn't in the past.
I have a sneaky feeling rogic is gona play his part from the bench.
But for me its crucial we start with 4 at the back.

I think Aribo is a big miss for them, if Lenny picks the right midfield, we should be too creative and mobile in the middle, I would play LG from the start, and sub him when his lack of match play starts to show, they are going to do a high energy, high press from the start, Ajeti is made for this game, but I don't think he is going to make it, he would have been perfect for picking them off in counterattacks, once the game settles down, our midfield should be too strong if Lenny picks the right midfield.

Be some psychological blow if we give them a gubbing as they'll all be rubbing their hands at all the dropouts for the game.

Has Laxalt had any game time this season? Hopefully we hit top gear and get tore in about them in midfield. If it's not going to plan I hope Lennon utilises the 5 subs and doesn't leave it to late to use them.

This game is won on attitude if we’re up for it we will win. We need to approach the game with no fear and take it to them if we sit back and are not up for the fight we will lose the battle and give them confidence. These are probably the only team in the league we will face who won’t sit back against us we need to use that to our advantage and go at them from the start. I’m with u Ed 442 no weaknesses or space for them to punt down the wings and match them in midfield. They will be up for this it’s there cup final but take it to them pin them back at every opportunity we have the superior quality and if we play we win.

A comfortable win ed? Come on. When did that last happen? And on current in-game form, and likely volume of changes and inevitable impact on team cohesion, how can you say " comfortable"? I HOPE you are right and we may well demolish them, but if that happened I would imagine most would be surprised.
You are basically saying that if we don't win comfortably, it will be down to NL team selection?

If it is about what we do, then pre game, I'd be happy with that but events events events .

Me saying I'd take a draw was for their benefit Ed. One of them took it back over to their page. I love going into these games with them full of confidence. Back in their box they'll go by 3pm on Saturday.
