I know, and appreciate, that with the current situation re players with CV, or with symptoms pending tests, or having to self isolate, there is a concern around Saturday and our readiness for the inevitable challenge that lies ahead
I think we need to be honest here. Our performances have been stop start with very little cohesiveness
Some players have had to endure stinging criticism, ie eddy christie, brown, Taylor ( I could go on)
The point is that we needed a SPARK and there's something to be said for having to react in very difficult circumstances
Could it be that we now have the FREEDOM to set up in a particular way? Is it the case that we will be LESS predictable in terms of formation and the 11 chosen?
Celtic can potentially play with the pressure off on Saturday, knowing that they have limitless excuses should things go against us
This may just be the spark we need and it may just be a turning point
Would wee dembele be a disaster, or turnbull starting, or klimala against a less packed defense, with griff coming on later with a lot to prove?
Celtic as underdog at home versus rangers! Is that so bad? If we win and perform with the prospect of a 5 point lead, I would think that would be unassailable
Lets see where we are on the Friday evening.

I personally think it will be a tough game. Even though we won the majority they out played us in 2/ 3 derbys last year including one at our ground. They are no world beaters but their performances so far this season have been on a par with ours. Arguably better in Europe. Hopefully they have a go as we seem to play better when teams do.

Just hope they don't resort to elimination tactics if things aren't going the right way for them. They've their fair share of hatchet throwers in that squad.

As mally says they will flood their midfield and rely on Kent. Morelos will spend more time rolling about than on his feet. Barasic would be a big miss for them and Tavaneir will get caught out of position if we play at a high tempo.
