I think fan criticism of Christie is a bit harsh. He appears to be the new Forrest and fan whipping boy. Yet again Hibs be was directly involved in both first half goals, his parried shot won us the game tonight, he was very close with another effort that went just over the bar and he never stops running and giving 100%. Just my opinion.

I didn't see the game tonight, but listened on the car radio, when I had the chance, my impression might be all wrong, but the first half seemed to be another turgid, unimaginatve display, lacking in creativity and movement, and the second half was an improvement, although it might have been a case of, 'the only way is up', Frimpong and Taylor seemed to have good second halves, Edi scored, Duffy made some unforced errors, Elyounoussi wasn't that great, but a thing, I picked up on, was that Sarajevo brought their club captain on, late in the second half, and I thought genius, that's where we've been going wrong, we could have kept Brown on the bench till the eighty fifth minute, and maybe Elyounoussi, and the team could have benefited from the creativity of Turnbull and Ntcham.

Listening on the radio gives you the biased anti Celtic view that the Main Stream Scottish Media have . To form an opinion after listening to that mans you are likely to have MSSM view which is useless . Brown particularly in the second half had a very good game . Duffy actually had his best game for Celtic.

Find myself agreeing with OMC! Lol. thought Duffy really took control of the back line tonite! And looks to be getting sharper! Brown played better as that team tired. still think we are some way off top gear to honest. far to predictable and one dimensional! We’ve absolutely no pace on that left wing at all, and Ryan christie (who I rate) really needs to sort out his passing and sharing the ball with his team mates! We’re through and that’s the main thing but still a really hard watch at time’s! Lennons Talk after the Riga game and again tonite about us being excellent is just plain nonsense! Get why he’s doing it but he actually seems to believe it! On to Sunday now and some fresh legs in there! Turnbull in and maybe a run out for Griffiths!

Bloody hell Chris it was closer to aindoh version as yours and I'm led to believe you watched it. Brown was late for almost everything and even missed his appointment for his booking. Teams set up to play anti football are something we struggle with. Ref seemed unduly harsh on our defenders but they repeated the same infringement time and again. Again Taylor got up and down worked hard and expanded his play where he could. Frimpong had a few runs and shots which is something the team will benefit from as he can run. It was one of those you should never lose but was hard to see the winner until it came. From a goalkeeper error.

A win away from home in europe is something to be celebrated. We have improved so much in these games. Maybe we don't start brown but then they score early and we r up against it. Europe is about results. Remember zagreb, basle, Bratislava, beer sheva, Lincoln red imps. We have had two away games, admittedly that we should win, but we have won. Credit to the team and, dare I say it, lennon. Onwards and upwards.

Christie:- Gives 100% and is the more mobile of the front players and shoots on sight; contributing to several goals for the team. Unfortunately, he also over-hits and misplaces crosses and passes and can frustrate team-mates and supporters alike.
He is also, probably the main reason Turnbull isn't starting; however Burnley are said to be interested in making a bid?

Christie is a great player, no denying it, but gives the ball away by trying a worldy pass far too often, wayward shots when others are in better positions, however he does create plenty for the team.
Each game I watch is dejavu pass side to side then back then side to side, no direct running through the middle at the opposition, hope frimpong beats his man, its very obvious what we are trying to do every match, and teams just sit deep and stop the passing channels, 3cbs sitting behind the play means its 7 vs 11, in one 3rd of the pitch, far too crammed, two up top at times simply doesn't work with 3 at the back, I'd like to see us change formation during games to trick the opposition, but so far its the same thing game after game
Having said that its worked so far, but for me unconvincing at times
4 3 3 should be the switch when we are struggling to break through.

Philiphlop is a believer in the Main Stream Scottish Media and their anti Celtic bias .
I suppose he will also argue that Scottish referees favour Celtic.
