With the game tomorrow being a one off game I suspect Celtic will play a 4-2-3-1 formation. Especially with Riga’s best players being their wingers.
With Jullian out Ajer will partner Duffy.
Lennon’s biggest decision will be between Frimpong or Elhamed.
I don’t think Ntcham will start and I wouldn’t start Elyounoussi away from home on a tight pitch.
I think they will play Turnbull in the number 10 with Christie on the right and Forrest on the left.
Both wide men will be able to cut inside and link up with Edouard who has been given the go ahead by Lenny.

If we can't beat this Riga team (who were only formed 6 years ago) then we shouldn't be playing European football.

Buzz Bomb. I don't know if Elyounoussi will play or not tomorrow but if he can't play well on tight pitches then you have to question why we brought him to the club.
Most of the pitches in Scotland are small and tight so it's a lot of matches he could miss out on.
I think we should pick our best 11 and stick to it unless there are injuries or loss of form, making constant changes to the starting 11 and formation never really works in my view.

Elyounoussi puts me in mind of Andreas Thom.
A brilliant talent especially at home with Celtic doing most of the attacking on the bigger pitch.
But on the smaller pitch. similar to when Kilmarnock shortened the length and width of their pitch last month, I think he struggles to make an impact.
I remember Andreas Thom always had a brilliant start to the season in the 90s and he also regained his form towards the end of the season.
But he didn’t like the winter months when the players had to dig deep on the heavier surfaces.

Buzz Bomb. It's a shame because on his day he's a really good player.
Maybe that's his problem at Southampton, the marking is very tight and there is very little space to play in.

Gerry I still think he has a massive part to play this season.
He will get more game time if Ntcham gets sold.

Ntcham is much more of a talent than Elyounoussi, Elyounoussi is in my eyes, vastly overated, by the same people who don't realise how good Ntcham is, .
