If Ajer was to play in Brown's position would we see a better and happier player? Although that's what he started out at, playing alongside Calmac over the months could have accelerated his development in a midfield 2 - although he could go back into a 3 when needed. If he played as a holding midfielder would we need Brown?

He doesn't convince me in defence. A couple of times on Saturday he didn't clear his lines properly and a better team would probably have punished us. I'd like to see him move further up because he helps drive us forward when we takes it out of defence. Brown needs rested/ dropped but unfortunately I don't see Lennon doing that. We also have Turnbull who IMO should be playing in games like Saturday.

I really don't know why we haven't seen this. Biton can play that role too.

If he played in a midfield we would need a new CB. Any comments on the following - 4-3-1-2? There are no wingers and would be played to contain a game. Other than that it would be back to a 3-5-2

Said a thousand times on here ajer is a poor defender he doesn't have that nasty streak needed to really defend.

doesn't really matter were we play him if reports are true then he wants away so let him go.
