Is this guy Duffy good, if he is why can't he get a game with Brighton. Surely our sights should be higher than a Brighton reject. Is it because he is Irish. I thought we would have went out and got a young up and coming CB from Croatia or Bulgaria or one of the Eastern block countries. But aslong as he is good enough that's fine I have never seen him play so I hope the people that know have done the right thing.

It didn't work too well the last time we shelled out £5m on an up-and-coming Croatian CB.

He's played a decent number of games at a high level. Should be solid in Scotland.

Would it be ok if he was German and called compper. a give up . waa Larsson a reject at feyenoord was Sinclair a reject was Sutton a reject. if you've never seen him why such a negative post.

Pretty sure compper was a fairly stick on dud like. And he didn't deviate from the plan. Always hoped he'd do something but got injured and paid in equal measure.

duffy has played 130 games over the last 4 season mate so i don't no about that can't get a game. and the fans like him so he can't be that bad.

Same questions and more where asked of comper. aladiere. efe amido blade. banngura. bayo. benyu. boli. derk. brafheid . brozec. cascarino carlton Cole . du wei . etc etc etc. whether he's as pish as them or as good as a mjallby remains to be seen so let's wait a few games or at least until his first mistake till he's judged.

My post wasn't about that I was thinking for the money being banded about that we could have got a guy like benkovic or a sumonivic someone like that a young up and coming guy with great potential as I have stated I have never seen him but I also wonder why he can't get a game for Brighton if he is so good. I understand he might be good enough for us but I just wanted people's opinions about what he is like. Is he a ball playing cb like ajer or a no nonsense cb like big Reiper who just wants to clear their lines. I don't watch international football I think I have 3 or 4 over the years after my dad stopped dragging me when I was little I also don't watch the Epl or any other league as I only watch celtic. So if they don't play for celtic my opinion is very limited I do watch the world Cup no and again though lol but not all the time.
