Ed, with PL always looking to balance the books and considering we have spent some money so far and probably more to come, who do you think could be sold and what about rough valuations.
{Ed007's Note - I think Ntcham will leave for about £20 million and I'm not confident that Edouard will still be a Celtic player when the window closes for anything between £30 - £40 million.}

Oh wow that is concerning Ed. And there was me thinking Ajer was most likely to leave. Turnball coming in helps with Nchamp potentially leaving and it is an area we are strong with Soro, Robertson and even Henderson who could come good, but I hope celtic have a back up plan for if Eddie does get snapped up. Stop panicking Mark, aren't Celtic always prepared! 🤣.
{Ed007's Note - It seems that it's only AC Milan that have so far shown any concrete interest in Ajer and according to Ed002 there's some big problems behind the scene there. Probably as the window goes on there will other clubs who will make their move but I don't think they will be the level Ajer and his agent expect. I think they are rather upset that Leicester haven't made any serious inroads in signing him but I'd say it'll be lower level EPL teams that are going to be the most interested, his erratic form hasn't helped impress any potential suitors so they might see what else is out there before committing. I'd say there's as much chance of Ajer leaving as there is of him staying the way things stand.}

I think the same players.
Celtic could accept £10 million for Ntcham.
And between £30 to £40 million for Edouard.
We could also get £4 million for Rogic and another £5 million for Dembele going to the EPL.

I think ajer also may go with duffy and a "project" coming in.
For Turnbull coming in someone will go and i think your right about ntcham.
We are still ment to be in the market for a striker hopefully however that doesn't mean eddy will be away. possibly more like klimala on loan.

Is it true that Eddy has a 40% psg sell on? Really could never see PL agreeing to anything near that.

Not a chance of getting 20million for Ntcham imo. 10-13m tops.
Think he will go along with Ajer for around a similar fee.
Edoard will go if someone offers £30m plus as the club can't afford to not sell if he isn't going to sign a new deal.
Rumours of C Mac to leicester, don't think we would need to do this one.

You've changed your tune on Edouard, Ed. The longer he goes without extending his deal the more likely we are to punt him and I can't see him extending after us getting papped out of the CL.

Even if we hadn't crashed out against Ferencvaros, there was still another qualifying hurdle, all the while the 'window' was ticking away and PL was always going to sanction a big departure - some on here were adamant he was staying, but it's an unfortunate pattern, these past few seasons.

What would the difference be in transfer money. To keep him and punt next season. Selling your best player's every season to cover up a poor manager's mess is soul destroying.

The new deal snag im told is about the terms upon which eddy can talk to other clubs and also the trigger value. Celtic want 35m apparently written in and rules around timing . Celtic are offering 45k per week with a clause around both parties having to agree mutually with any deal within the next 2 transfer windows . this gives celtic leverage and an element of control . a 4 tear deal. eddy will sign but wants free reign over who and when with a minimum value of 30m with the 1st transfer window permitted ( with no Celtic consent ) . celtic think they'll get 12 months out of him as his plan is to woat it out for a marseille or a Monaco or a lyon . or top 10 in EPL ( the likes. pf Everton and Leicester and west ham)
There is a stalemate and because of that, celtic are in a real bind
Eddy is calling the shots and ironically wants a new deal but with a more lucrative contract Celtic want some control over triggers and timings
If they don't break the stalemate. he meeds to go now but eddy won't just go anywhere
There is a trust issue with PL also . watch for this news.
