I do not understand how Gerrard McAllister and el fluffalo are aloud to go to a pub on the same day as the Aberdeen players yet its okay for them and the Aberdeen boys have been hung out to dry and been fined and the sheep games postponed. strange indeed with boli I have no complaints about his criticism of going to Spain then not saying anything to the club he is a fool only gripe with that is he was in contact with both Celtic and Kilmarnock players yet its only our games postponed.

I accept Boli left us wide open, but I really think the establishment are showing their hand, on how they will deal with any Celtic related incident for the rest of the season.
The postponement of Aberdeen's game I can understand because their whole city is in lockdown and two of their players tested positive after disobeying social distancing and other said infringements.
On the other hand, Celtic - after two negative tests for all concerned (including Kilmarnock staff) - are being punished solely for the stupidity and arrogance of Boli.
Games, postponed, player charged by police, SPFL AND SFA charges and all the while TRIFC 2012 are totally untouchable.
I am certain this and all future leniency and blind-eyes are as a direct result to the dosser's dossier that also went quietly into the night without the relevant exposure and consequences due.
Once again; I am not excusing Brainless Boli, but I am sure this is the start of the 'Stop The Ten' mentality from the suits.

Do you think LG will get dealt with the same for his constant breach of club policy?

14 Aug 2020 19:08:13
Ed what is your unbiased opinion on what may come our way due to Boli's stupidity?

{Ed007's Note - Probably a fine and a rap on the knuckles.}

14 Aug 2020 20:05:35
ed was is your view how the new club have not had not one single word says about them even though there manager and player did the exact same as Aberdeen players.

{Ed007's Note - I'm not surprised after their mess up with results before the Dundee Utd friendly was brushed aside.}

Is no one allowed to go to pubs now. I can't keep up with all the regs now. I thought you were allowed to go to pubs.

14 Aug 2020 20:50:53
I hope Celtic don't accept any punishment as these rules are being made up after the event.
The season ahead is going to be a total farce if it carries on like this.
I think the football authorities have been so scared of losing the Sky contract that they have wanted the game brought back at any cost, instead of negotiating a realistic approach they've basically allowed the Scottish government to decide if a team can play or not, regardless of whether any player has the virus or not.
I don't think it's realistic or fair to hold club's responsible for what rogue players get up to when they are away from their work. Unless someome from the club goes home and stays with them then unfortunately they can do what they like.

Gerryc I agree mate, to be honest I don't know if any punishment would be enforceable as the event happened before any legislation was drawn up by SFA.

What I would like to know is why Sevco are not being investigated. They broke rules and risked lives with their testing breach.

{Ed007's Note - Surely Dundee Utd are as liable as TRIFC for taking part in a match that didn't meet the regulations?}

14 Aug 2020 23:57:50
The rule is no more than 4 households together is it not. Aberdeen was 8 households

Rangers was 3 . END.

15 Aug 2020 08:55:55
It's all nonsense these rules. What if the Aberdeen players had gone out in two groups of 4 and they happened to end up at the table next to each other. Plus they are in a social bubble so surely groups from different households doesn't matter as long as they are distancing from everyone else. They were daft to go to the pub but the reaction has been very over the top. Who's to say they actually caught cv at the pub. They could have caught it before and then trained and played sevco so surely everyone should be isolating. I know tests are done before but with this 14 day period surely that's pretty worthless? This season could end up even more of a farce than it is already.

15 Aug 2020 00:42:14
@ed007 I thought I added them as well mate, got distracted while typing lol.

15 Aug 2020 10:40:29
The Sevco fans are claiming their club is not to blame for playing 9 untested players against Dundee Utd.
They are claiming the lab were late with their testing results.
If the lab were late with their testing results- why was the Sevco v Dundee Utd game allowed go ahead?
And why was it swept under the carpet by the SFA/ SPFL when the club ( not one individual ) were clearly in breach of protocol.
The rules simply don’t apply to Sevco.

15 Aug 2020 11:01:21
With Sevco it is always someone else's fault, they can't accept any responsibility for anything.

15 Aug 2020 12:17:53
Chris Sutton doesn’t miss the authorities in his column today, no sitting on the fence always straight to the point.

15 Aug 2020 12:19:49
@ Lubomir and Marco. I think part of the issue is that they were dishing out autographs and you can’t do that 2 metres away for their fans.

{Ed007's Note - The issue is that people involved in football matches shouldn't be out in the pub, what's the difference with the TRIFC management team & their DOF being sitting in a pub and the Aberdeen players?}

15 Aug 2020 13:20:08
Was that story true about Gerrard Mcalister and Morelos I thought someone was making this up. So did the 3 of them goto the pub together.
