Boli had already been made a bit of scapegoat by a segment of the support, and the coverage that he's getting in media throughout the UK is following this example. He deserves much of this criticism for an action that recklessly imperils the resumption of football in Scotland, but as far as I'm aware travelling to spain and returning isn't illegal and requires no special precautions or notifications for ordinary citizens. At the same time, he seems to getting much more resentment than other elite athletes and politicians (even scientists) who have acted selfishly. Don't get me wrong: Boli ****ed up here, but he deserves only as much scorn as others who have been given another chance here.

In other words, this is financial and professional failure more than a legal, ethical or moral failure.

Couple things here. I if feeck off to Spain I need to quarantine for 14 days. He turned up to work the next day.
Secondly, he was ordered not to leave Glasgow
Thirdly this isn't the first time boli has been in bother. He stormed out of rugby park and jumped in a taxi hame after being named on the bench last season.

If there is an active quarantine then you're right, Kev. I never checked. That would change my way of thinking about it. I do tire of the scapegoating tho.

The image leading the BBC story is a case in point: they've chosen (& edited it? ) to make it look like Boli was up in the faces of motherwell fans. That's just incendiary propaganda. I can't tell from the story whether the quarantine referred to is a national requirement or just something within the game.

Anyone travelling to Spain needs to quarantine for 14 days on return. Football teams I believe would be exempt but not individual players away for a jolly. Sack him and take him to court for 3 million.

He deserves all the criticism he gets in my opinion.

Had we of gave Johnny Hayes a year extension, we wouldn't of needed to see bolongoli again. Or even signed another LB before now.

He deserves to get belted for this. What an idiot. I am sure Lenny must have gone mental when he heard the news. We could now be 8pts behind that mob before we play again and also he has put the club in the spotlight for the wrong reasons. Personally l would show him the door.

Does anyone know if it will effect the first round of the CL qualifiers?

Jonny " pubcrawl " hayes . hmmmm.

11 Aug 2020 17:26:02
Lennon goes on about professionalism yet gives days off to the players after a 4 month lay off. We will need to go through the required steps to terminate Bolongolis contract. You can't just say right your sacked!

As Kev mentioned before
I don’t see the problem with giving the players a Monday and Tuesday off when they have worked the full weekend before and the full weekend after.

Lubomir I doubt he would of been as stupid to do what he had done in Aberdeen if he was at club.
