Last season we were struggling to break teams down and looked a bit off it. The bhoys went to Dubai and changed it up and went 352. We looked sharp, better, creating more chances.
This season we have come back playing a 4231 instead of the 352 that served us so well. Don't understand the thought process behind going back to a 4231.
Also I knew he was going to take broony off for ntcham today but with hed done it 20 mins earlier. As much as I love broony when the game is as tight as it is you need an ntcham type player on the park.

The only reason Lenny didn’t play the 3-5-2 was because he doesn’t trust Klimala yet. The game in January proved it is the best system at Rugby Park.
There was always a possibility the game could have turned out to be scrappy because we have struggled to create chances there in the past with the majority of the players we had playing yesterday.
I pointed out a couple of days ago that we should start Elhamad incase the team was struggling to create chances and then we could have switched to a 3-5-2 formation a lot sooner.
I said to my son after 30 minutes this isn’t working and if Elhamad was playing we could have switched formations until half time to see if it made a difference with Elyounoussi moving up top with Eddy.
Because he started with Frimpong we had to wait until 67 minutes to make the change and by that time Killie were camped on their 18 yard line.
On the bright side Celtic didn’t get beat and I don’t think we picked up any injuries and now we move onto Wednesday.

I think Celtic is the only team in the world where Brown keeps Ntcham out the team. He should be playing every week imo.

Ntcham is clearly a better footballer than Broony but he has a tendency not to turn up. If we are going into a battle I know who I'd start. We are already lightweight without having another non tackler in midfield. Everyone goes on about when Broony was injured it should be remembered that the three were calmac Christie and rogic. Getting the big man fit could be key for me. His creativity is on another level. I know he's always injured, can only last 60 mins and turns up a few times a season. But what a player he is when on it.
