Hi ed, is ther substance to the Fletcher rumours? It's an absolute frightening thought! I thought we were past the days of topping up past it players retirement funds. I have really been hoping for more ambition with the links to Toney and Ajeti.

That's OK if you're 35/36/Defoe-old but at 33 surely Fletcher thinks he can do better than that and has more to offer than be in that lowly squad position unless there's injury/fitness concerns.}

Maybe he just wants the thrill of playing a part and being around the place for 10IAR whilst he is fit enough . I think he'd be a good option for a year and right up for it . and then we can have a year 2 option or let him. go to . you've guessed it . Hibernian or Aberdeen
I actually like fletcher as a player when he is surrounded by very mobile players around him.

I think fletcher and marshall are both looking to be part of a team that wins 10. I feel both would be squad players at best. If we go 2 up and have 5 - eddy LG klimala to toney and fletcher I'd be chuffed
CB and versatile defender would be nice also.

ed do you think we will bring in any striker that's capable of being in front of edouard n griffiths if fit?

I'd rather see us keep Bayo and use him wherever Fletcher would fit into the squad, if you're scraping the barrel then scrape your own first and with 5 subs allowed this season there's plenty of scope to give game time to fringe players and youngsters.
We also have Klimala who has worked hard to get himself into the picture but just think what would happen if Edouard gets a knock and LG is struggling for whatever reason, do you really want Klimala AND Steven Fletcher leading the line for The 10?}

Come on.
We could have europe . league cup . scottish cup . league. there will be lots of times where we need a big lump with a decent touch and a bit of experience. if he knows the score and accepts the 2md fiddle status and we can make the finances work ( for a year) a wee bit of experience in the building wouldn't be a disaster.

I think fletcher and klimala would be better than bayo and klimala bit for clarity, I'd rather have klimala and Werner or Salah or Mbappe 💚😮🙄.

No that's my point. but I don't see us forking out for Toney and I know you think differently but to me ajeti looks to be stalling. i would much rather have Fletcher than bayo right enough any day of the week.

Scraping the bottom of the barrell is the best way to sum this link up! We are going for 10 and some of you think Fletcherbis a good idea? F*#k me! I agree a more presence would add to the squad. But I'm sure we can do a lot better.
