Ed, with celtic being called out for the toney bid, they are obviously trying to create a bidding war but what's your take on maybe the player has told them his preference is to join celtic.
I think he would rip it up here.
Hope we get him.

Reading between the lines it looks to me like Tonev might fancy the move up here but we aren't getting near the money Peterborough are looking for. If there are clubs out there bidding near the asking price why are both McAnthony and Fry publicly trying to goad Celtic into upping their offer?
The statements to the media coming out of Peterborough will not sit well with Lawwell though as that isn't the way he likes to do business and could see us leaving them to it.}

If there was a club that bid the price they want they would be shouting their name all over the place.
