Now that FF has decided not to return to Celtic Park. I would like to give my take on the next first choice keeper.
Vaclav Hladky is my choice for the following reasons, He was the second best keeper in scotland last season.
He is a good age can still develop and has a excellent chance of increasing in value which is the club DNA.
A number of previous young keepers have come to scotland and are now top class international keepers, FF Schmicheal Randolph. I am sure you can up with others
There have been others mentioned some are unknown quantities with little knowledge of British footbal and some are getting on in age.
Scott Bain and thegood young keepers at celtic aren't yet up to the role for a full season.

Some keepers at the lesser teams look good as they are having to concentrate a bit more and see more of the ball
different coming to a club like Celtic where there’s pressure and less of the ball.
Massive season no time for experiments.

FF was an experiment at one time and he started 10 in a row whoever comes in will have big shoes to fill.
Vaclav Hladky is possiblely the best of all options.

Are we kidding ourselves that the st Mirren keeper is a choice to be our number 1 in the most important season off our clubs history. are we not taking this seriously by going after mediocre talent.

To be fair to the lad he looks decent, but I'm with u scoop, no risks. I would be happy enough to sign him but as back up to a new gk and bain as 2nd choice. I wouldn't mind giving bain the pre season to stake his claim before trying again for forster. The big man might fancy it if he goes back down n misses all the fuss.
