Colour me surprised.
Until recently the Scottish Players Union were OPPOSED to any of their players playing ANY match, in front of fans or behind closed doors "too dangerous" they said. Suddenly their position has "changed" and Fraser Wishart their head man, says it is "now acceptable" to play games behind closed doors.
Nothing to do with "moaning fc" wanting games played even behind closed doors. All trade unions have an ethos of equality and acting in the best interests of ALL MEMBERS
perhaps Mr Wishart used look up the Trade Union guidelines.

There like a spoiled child who wants everything there own way . If clubs are told to play behind closed doors then they'll jyst have to get on with it and stop there bloody moaning.

Behind closed doors or not, they still need a pitch to play on. By starting to re-lay (seed) their tattie field recently, they've thrown the towel in completely and clearly have no intention of seeing out the remaining fixtures, if possible.

Football is months away from returning, that is just nonsense to suggest that reseeding a pitch is anything other than reseeding a pitch. I don't see your ed1 making commements on the ludicrous stuff coming from that mob, quite happy to have a go here, we all want to see league ended with games played, why would we not, as for Liverpool they more than deserve the league.

They are too busy indulging in ludicrous theories of being victimised to be doing anything else, they knew the league was over, then along came coronavirus as a savior too them, because the thought of 9 again eats them up, giving the cover of concern for other clubs, as I say eveyone wants it finished properly, why wouldn't we, but if not it has to be called as is, null and void is not an option, at the end of the uefa will decide one way or another. As for independent enquiery into scottish football, good luck with that we have wanted one for years. rant over.

Ed, I think you have misread me. I never said I wanted handdd the title. I want the games finished, like most Celtic fans. My post was referring to how Rangers don't seem too bothered about potentially finishing the fixture list as theuve stated work on their new pitch. I'll bow to your superior gardening knowledge, but to suggest it's going to be months before we can resume is just your opinion. The Germans are gearing up to resume their league in the next few weeks, who is to say we can't do that too? No one knows for sure and that's why the ballot has left room for the league to be finished if possible, if not then it ends as they stand now. You've got a crystal ball though I take it?
{Ed001's Note - I trained as a groundsman, it doesn't take months to lay a new pitch. Teams in the Prem often do it when there is a break if their pitch has been a problem.
As for my opinion, it is an opinion based on knowledge of the situation. The Germans are hardly gearing up to resume, they are training in well-spaced pairs. But not sure how that is relevant anyway as Germany has had nothing like the issue with Covid-19 that the UK has.
Right now there is pretty much an acceptance within football that there will be no games before July. They are just hoping there will be. Remember that even if footie were to resume, players would need at least a couple of weeks to get back up to speed fitness-wise, probably more like a month, before games could start again.}

If the powers that be say Celtic and Liverpool are champions then they're champions it's not there fault both would have finished the job anyway we all know it.
{Ed001's Note - more than likely they would but that is not reason to give it them. Lots of things have happened beyond a club's control that has stopped them in their tracks. There is Superga, Munich Disaster and Chapocoense that have lost great teams to plane crashes, for example. Like any race, it is not over until someone actually gets over the line and anything could happen, even though 999 times out of 1000 nothing does - we have seen this year that there is always a possibility that something does happen.}

To right col we don't need to make up stories of corruption we lived through it and came out the other side these gullibillies will try hang on to any tiny sliver of hope of us not making the 9 then 10 and null and void is not an option it would bankrupt probably 2/ 3 of all football clubs.

Ed - Rangers may not be screaming for a title but I don't see any of them saying that they should not be given second either if the standings are to finish where they are. Will rangers be saying "what about Motherwell, what about Aberdeen they could finish second - no is the answer. So what's the difference Ed in Rangers demanding second place?
You are an Ed so you should have more about you than to write "You lot are embarrassingly desperate to be given a trophy you haven't won". Such generalisations from an Ed are beneath the position you hold. I know MANY Celtic supporters that think an unfinished league is just that and would not accept it in the same light as the other 8.
Having said that I agree on the pitch part.

Ed001. Point in fact if a formula 1 race cannot be finished for whatever reason after a certain point in the race the winner is determined by who is winning at the point it was declared. Precedent.}

Ed we want to win it on the pitch I we get awarded it that's not our fault it will not be null and void no league will it will bankrupt too many rangers fans would rather let every club in Scotland fail than admit they are not and were not ever going to win the title anyway we will be champions 1 way or another and the sooner the hordes realise it and come to terms they will die again next year when we win the ten the better.
