I think Celtic should be doing exactly the same as Dundee United and put all playing staff on furlough leave, it is financial madness not to do it.

It maybe financial madness for Celtic not putting all their players on furlough leave .
However all our first team players wouldn’t qualify as they earn more than maximum allowed.

Exactly. They should offer them a cut price deal with the shortfall made up at a later date.

How do they not qualify?, it's not up to them, this is a world war situation, this isn't people saying it's only the Flu, this is the survival of whole societies, economies, whole way of life's, and yet we are supposed to accept people getting paid £25 thound a week, give or take whatever thousands each way, just because they only have a short career, while the rest will of us are supposed to shovel rubbish for pennies to earn enough to watch over paid stars play football.

Yes, maybe I need to look at the rules, well in that case, I will go back to the Anne Budge way of doing things, tell all the first team squad that they are getting all their wages cut to £2500 a month, take it of leave it.

Many Celtic players earn between £15 and £ 30 k per week and will probably not agree to a cut to £2.5 m per mth £30,000 per yr . If our Board cut wages to that, I think all the fans would revolt . 10 in a row gone in a stroke.
