This is the worst half of football I've seen from Celtic this year. No urgency. Griffiths and Eduard look like they've never played with each other. Players not being able to pass 10 yards to each other. 6'+ defenders being beaten in the air. The only positive is we haven't lost a goal. Hard to watch 😫.

Agree0 Disagree1

Total over reaction, has it never dawned on you that the conditions are horrendous to play football on? Wouldn't be too disappointed with a draw here and get them back to Paradise. Hope we don't make same error as midweek believing it's got to be won in 90 mins.

Bizarre statement stevie, course we’ve got to believe it’s got to be won in 90 min! I agree totally about playing condition but cannot agree about not being disappointed if we take this to a replay!

I want to still be in the cup at the end of the match Danny, hopefully by winning today . what I don't want is us going gung ho forward and getting caught in the last few minutes.

Really Stevie. You put the way we were playing down to the playing surface. Now that is a bizarre statement. Thankfully we managed to up our levels in the second half and stumble over the line.

After playing midweek in what probably drained the players physically and mentally, i think they done well today in very tough conditions we had some good chances but battled through, that pitch looked so heavy.

personaly i thought after thursdays game and on a heavy pitch that was a good battling display not the best pitch for football. bitton was superb.

Lawman your having a laugh. The pitch was an embarrassment game should have been called off.
the ball going everywhere stopping when it wants slowing down for nothing.
The players where falling over everytime. Celtic are all about neat quick passes don't you know this, what can we do when the ball does not go where we want it. . Never going to happen.
More pressure on Gerrard great win on the worst pitch I have ever see. Bet you st Johnston thought they could take us as our flair playing players wound not be able to handle it. This was correct our players could not but neither could the st Johnston players.

And your point is FG1. You can't blame a pitch for not showing urgency or winning your personal battles. We were sluggish and our game was error strewn. I understand that the Copenhagen must have taken its toll mentally but hey get on with it. I agree with other posts Bitton was brilliant and to have gone for as long in cup competitions without defeat is amazing and will be talked about for decades.

Agreed about button maybe get his chance now. Maybe I'm just being picky Lenny is expecting to much from Taylor.

lawman45 you’re right it will be talked about for decades, but it won’t be by anyone other than Celtic fans .

You being serious Lawman? The pitch was an absolute quagmire. Those conditions are totally energy sapping, and no wonder the likes of Taylor was gubbed by the end. Said as soon as I saw the pitch I'd be happy to sneak a 1-0.

To think that that kind of pitch is conducive to slick passing or quick play is lunacy.
