Just seeing Copenhagen got the side from Istanbul makes last night even more painful another more than winnable tie really feel it's time to take stock of the so called business model as regards signings, Bayo, Klimmari, shved, soro, Bauar, boligoli, abd hamed (good player) but looking like another compper not one of them available when needed, I know there is time for some of them to come good but rather than fill the squad would rather have one or two that challenged for a place first day.

You could name loads of players that were either bought or brought in on loan, that never made the grade or struggled badly and were a complete waste of time/ money and it far outweighs the successes.
De Vries Gamboa Toljan Hendry Compper Blacket Janko Allen Eboue Benyu McKay-Steven, Musonda Arzani Bayo Shved and then there's Burke and Weah, who NL never really fancied after taking over. Hayes and Bolingoli are seen as last resorts and the two latest January signings have not broken through for whatever reason?
There is real quality in the team as we have seen them at their best, but when a few are injured or struggling for form, we are bereft of class to fill those gaps in key areas.
Every summer we lose at least one top player and we need to stop economizing or making-do with quantity over quality or else?

As far as I know ( could be wrong) bauer was available for selection. Lennon just left him out the squad and played a CB there instead.

Bauer was in the Europa league squad.
Shved was the player left out.

Lenny makes huge mistakes in a few games Cluj and Servco games to name some doesn't have a plan B in a game last night was another I really can't understand why he changed the formation it was reckless at least incompetent at most if his assistant's agree with his formation with those games we are in trouble Yeah we will get 9iar but how much off that was because of Servco imploding rather than us being great?

Just like the people pre match yesterday, wondering who we would get in the draw for the quarter finals, I think all this talk of nine in a row already being achieved is just asking for trouble, we are only a couple of bad results away from The rangers being right back in it, and he f Lenny keeps picking the wrong team selection, that's what will happen.

Hindsight is wonderful as plenty fans were happy with the lineup pre kickoff, we have lost at same stage as the rat did for the previous 2 but he never got the stick lennon gets.
{Ed007's Note - Yes he did and don't forget Rodgers also took us into the CL in his first season but he took plenty of stick for the loss to Red Imps and for the drubbings we took in the Group Stages and losing to AEK in the CL qualifiers last season. We went out the EL last season to Valencia who went on to finish 4th in La Liga, not a team that's 9 points behind Midtjylland - who TRIFC beat 7-3 on aggregate 5/6 months ago - in their league}

Yes that's right rodgers led us to the 3 worst defeats in our history in europe. He also lost to a very average zenit team in last 32,only reason he got to last 32 last time was because rosenborg scored v leipzig to deny them 2nd place. Last season rodgers lost to killlie away, hearts away, hibernian away and sevco before xmas so let's put brendan in perspective eh. He beat dreadful sevco teams and his football was awful to watch with the 25 passes to cross half way line and the pathetic pass out from the back guff. Rodgers signings were wonderful though. commper, musonda, hendry, oboue, gamboa, de vries, izzy, morgan, etc etc we are far better off in terms of points than under him plus he left us via back door and couldn't care less about Celtic unlike lennon.
