Anyone think we could have taken a punt in Kamberi? Hibs supporting mate told me he was very inconsistent but could be fantastic and it seemed to be attitude and application issues. He is still a Hibs player but after his comments he seems to have burned his bridges. Looks more of a player than bayo.

No for me. don't need a player who only turns it on every now and again. Plus him and lennon parted on bad terms.

Said on here last month that I always rated kamberi. like u said he’s got problems with consistency but he’s a talented footballer. i am by no means saying he’s a world beater or that we should have even went for him but I do rate the lad! But he’s choosen to settle for runners up United and it’s a decision he’ll just have to live with lol!

I think the fall out at Hibs between himself and Lennon made that possible move a non starter right away. Good player at times, but seems to have attitude and ego issues. I wouldn't want him for that reason alone. Dressing room disharmony can be deadly to a title challenge.

You have got to laugh at the Sevco fans. They reckon Kamberi is worth £10 million now. I think some of them have forgotten he is still a Hibs player and have priced themselves out of signing him. When they finally realise, his valuation will have plummeted like their 2020 form.

Yup, said for a long time he was one of the players from another team in the league I'd have liked to take a punt on. Always played well when I've seen him play and seemed to get himself about.
With his alleged fall out with Lennon though, that was never going to happen.
Bit like when Bain went to Hibs, I thought we missed the boat on him, but at least we managed to snatch him. Wouldn't swap Forster for him, but was a definite upgrade on what we had at that time IMO.
