Media reports Arsenal may sell KT. I love him but think we sold at right time, if we still had him now I doubt we would get many takers at £25m. On his game incred9player but last 3 years he has been stop start with injuries. Still think he will be back in the hoops before too long.
{Ed007's Note - Is that the same KT that only left us just after he turned 22 and still played 33, 40, 55 and 40 games for us in his 4 full seasons with us?}

Once he gets fully fit he is going to have a cracking career. No chance he will be back in scotland before hes well into his 30s.

This must be bull, the lad has had a terrible time with injuries the past year but hopefully he gets back to himself and has a couple of good years at arsenal befor a mega move which we will benefit from if sell on clause included.
{Ed007's Note - KT dislocated his shoulder during a game which needed an operation and Arteta has said how impressed he has been with him since he's been back training. Leicester may well be interested in him but there will be a tidy profit for us Arsenal and he does move.}

KT is a great player but he seems to be one of those guys who is always potentially injury prone. I hope he makes it because he is a good lad. HH.

One of the best bits of business we have done. He wanted to go, made the club 25mill and still talks about the club in a good light.

Yeah he did play a decent number of games but also missed a lot, he played 100 of 152 league games in 4 seasons and played 5 of 25 for arsenal. So 105 of 177 which is a poor record. I wasnt saying it was KT's fault, far from it as he gets a load if punishment. My point was £25m was good business and buying clubs might be less inclined to pay that now.

Ed I've tried reply to a post on the rumours page and it won't send. Everything seems fine on the banter side. I did try to creat a new post to tell you but that doesn't seem to have gone up either. Anyone else having the same issue?

I don't think KT is injury prone. In fact, for a long stretch he seemed totally unstoppable and undroppable. So much so that he was thrown into game after game, often carrying injuries and niggles. No doubt most pros do this all the time, but his determination to play, and his manager's (over) reliance on him as a guaranteed performer, caught up with him. Easy to say in retrospect, but when you look how young he seems in his breakthrough seasons, we ought to have managed his appearances much better. Still would have won leagues and cups at a canter. He'll excel at Arsenal, I've no doubt, and catch the eye. May even learn from this frustration. Also agree that in hindsight it was good business for the club given this trajectory.
