I was wondering what your readers thought about Griffiths starting on Wednesday.
Given the controversy from Sundays match and maybe his delicate mental health prehaps also to remind him of his duty to his team mates and to the club. It would also give Kilmala a chance to show us what he can do. With the ammount of games coming up he will get another chance to redeem himself and concentrate on what he is paid for, to score goals.

{Ed007's Note - I'd 100% start LG on Wednesday, yesterday's incident has been blown completely out of proportion and if he doesn't start it'll just keep it dragging on with people saying "oh did Lennon drop him for being a naughty boy" and probably worse.
We definitely should stop bringing LG's mental health into every discussion about him as well. If he wasn't in a good place he wouldn't be in the squad, it's as simple as that.}

His mental health issues is in the past, he is on form, playing well and certainly does not deserve to be dropped. There is a witch hunt by the media against him and you are clearly taken in by it.

It was accident he was trying to take the pressure off first foot and that's why other foot stamp.

The media hysteria is ridiculous and everyone and their dug (even that wee McFadden) has felt the need to chip in his tuppence worth.
My only concern would be an over-zealous official going OTT as a result of the biased backlash and looking to appease the 'people'.

The McGregor leg breaker was far worse yet they focus on Griffiths.

Was never intentional. As usual the media trying to turn something into something it’s not.

Good point Ed about LG and the media if he is rested.
On the incident, I wonder how many of us on here would be screaming if moron less had done the same thing or any other player against a Celtic player.
I will be honest, I would probably demand a red card.
Having watched it again, not 100% convinced there was no red mist moment which he pulled back out of when realisation hit.

He's playing well why would we leave him out and it was never a red.

I, too, hope Griff plays as he is a great striker and I believe his partnership with Edouard is bringing the best out of Edouard also. I just hope that the SFA allow him to play and they don't allow all the crap on social media influence them to upgrade Griff's yellow to a red. I find it interesting that how the incident has been viewed follows party lines according to whether we support Celtic or Rangers. It's a bit like the Morelos cut throat gesture and he didn't get a further ban as a result and I'm happy about this because I honestly do believe he was saying that it doesn't matter that I've been sent off as the game is over and we have won. Having lived many years in America and then Italy I have seen the sign used often to mean stop, enough, cut etc and to be honest never really in a way which is a threat unless it is one finger (index) drawn across neck, which Morelos didn't do. I honestly don't think what Griff did was a malicious stamp on a player which merits a red card and I hope if they decide to review the incident it will not be to rubber stamp a condemnation of Griff in the media but to honestly look at the incident in an unbiased way (if possible) and in that scenario I don't believe there is anything to worry about and Griff can celebrate by giving us a goal on wednesday.

I see common sense has prevailed.
