So perhaps a stupid question but If a player gets 3 yellows in one game does he receive a longer suspension? Or does the 3rd yellow just carry on in his record? I haven't heard of any one getting 3 yellows before.

He was already suspended for the cup game due to getting booked against Aberdeen in the Scottish cup quarter final last season. I think he got a 2 match suspension for getting sent off against us. One game for 2 yellows and an extra one game suspension because he has already been sent off this season. The 3rd yellow card will just go on his disciplinary record. It was mentioned he received a 3 game ban but I think it was only 2 games plus he was already suspended for the cup game.
