What did he say.

16 Jan 2020 13:04:38
He is the snp man for shettlstone and has said he won't represent anyone who's in the oo and who voted no.

{Ed007's Note - That's not really what he said though:

"I am happy to represent every constituent on issues like housing and to discuss all sorts of issues with constituents. However, I will not be speaking up for constituents who want lower taxes, Orange marches, keeping Scotland in the UK, etc. If you are a constituent and have any local or personal issue, I am more than happy to help.
How you voted in the referendum or election is irrelevant. However, if you are asking me to support nuclear weapons, then I am afraid I cannot represent you on that."

He's saying he won't back constituents that try to get him involved in arguments that are pro-anti-Catholic and OO parades or against independence. He's more than happy to help everyone with stuff like housing and crime etc but he won't help people that contact him because their local ant-Catholic parade has been rerouted whilst moaning about AUOB parades.
Would anyone expect an MP who is pro-life to speak up for abortion because they got some e-mails from angry constituents?}

Cheers ED
Need a few more MP's like that.

16 Jan 2020 14:11:34
He'll do for me.

16 Jan 2020 14:57:57
Spot on Ed he didn’t say he won’t support anybody that was in the Orange Order or who voted no he’s more than happy to do that. However the man has the absolute right not to support an issue of conscience particularly that you’ve referred to with regard to a person being pro-life which is the best example of why even an elected MP must reserve the right not to support a constituent on any matter with which he or she may have a moral stance. The papers report what the papers report and assume a skewed anti-Catholic position at every opportunity. Scotland’s shame.

But to the moronic ones that is exactly what he said. and that is exactly what they will take from it. Reading the Daily Record and Rangers didn't go into liquidation in 2012.

16 Jan 2020 19:28:02
You saying am a moron kwaj.

16 Jan 2020 23:50:07
How do you read the Daily Record and believe Rangers didn't go into liquidation? I was referring to the moronic element that support the marches etc and will read between the lines using that loosely. who will just assume the headlines that he did say etc. Wasn't directed at you Mally no. I was replying to JFP and no I'm not saying he is a moron either.
