Great win today as this was one of those teams we could not break down in the past but what a difference. Wednesday big game then the final against them.
So how do we approach this I think we go at them. Every game we have played so far we have dominated should be no difference next Sunday.

The thing is, all this praise for the players and lennon for the nice free flowing football and in wins in Europe mean nothing if we don't win the final. It's our bread and butter and our team has far more quality so no excuses. You can't take anything for granted but this game goes a long way for the season.

It'll depend on who's available after wed game we have 4 or 5 missing just now.

@bayo
ye agreed
bread and butter first.
its been tough year for us with all the changes, we came through it have a look at arsenal big changes there and a few others we went through this when rodgers left and kept our shxx together i did worry just a little as it was a mess but somehow this team took it in there stride.
also this team knows what it means they seem hungry.
hope elhamed and eddy are back HH.

Absolute nonsense Bayo, "the wins in Europe mean nothing if we don't win the Final" You do realise a time will come when we don't win a Treble? Impossible to keep winning absolutely everything. I've said it before I'm dreading the over the top reaction when the day comes that we fail to win a final. Hope that day isn't Sunday but if it is, I hope our support put a bit of perspective into it.

It's a cup final, anything can happen, and probably will.

02 Dec 2019 15:19:36
Spot on Stevie, some people just baffle me at times, Sunday can go either way based on present form, if both teams play to their potential then we win, so close though, its going to be a tough game.

02 Dec 2019 16:52:29
@stevie,
the over reaction will be from the typical few but that's there opinion.
they will not accept lennon no matter if he wins the europa cup or the quadruple.
we have done great and went through a lot i also know this run can and will come to an end one day but as you say hopefully not sunday.

i don't see why we can't win on sunday we are still the best team and have improved leaps and bounds. just look at our performance in euorope these teams we are playing are great teams we defeated them with skill and tactics tat should be enough so by analogy we are getting better our away form great and destroying stubborn dogged defensive minded teams was where we used to struggle.

we are are also a better team than the last time thet played us let's hope lennies mind games work.

In almost 120 years only 17 trebles (rangers 9 Celtic 8) have been won in Scotland which shows how difficult it is. Who could even have dreamt of a double treble never mind a treble treble. For sure this will come to end but as others have said hopefully it will not take place on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, to Rangers. Would be easier to accept losing a final to a Highland League team.

02 Dec 2019 21:52:13
Jim we have 5 trebles and they have 7.

03 Dec 2019 00:29:20
Damned wikipedia as didn't notice that the first couple for both teams was before introduction of league cup and was league, cup and glasgow cup. so you are right royjac they have 7 but we have 6. Stein got 2, '67 and '69, O'neil got 1 and then the treble treble.
