Celtic should be looking to sign a proven striker in the January window. I hope that I am wrong here but I think that the odds are stacked against Leigh Griffiths making a successful return to this Celtic side. I interpret Ed 007’s comments (earlier on today) around consideration that he might move on next summer as an indication that he shares my pessimistic view regards Leigh’s future at Celtic. I genuinely hope that hindsight proves me wrong.

His health obviously comes first and in my opinion, the pressure of even playing regularly - never mind taking the strain off Eddy is a huge ask that may not be possible?
Bayo possibly falls into the same category as Amido Balde and I agree we should be looking at a quality striker ASAP.
