A couple of points about our european results.
As most know on here, if we finish top we are seeded and can avoid some of the more dangerous teams but whoever we are drawn against will be tough.
On the co efficient front I only want Celtic to benefit, yes if Sevco qualify also it boosts the Scottish co efficient and could give us 2 teams in CL, but the only benefit to Celtic, if we win title, is we enter CL qualifying at the second qualifying round so only 1 less qualifying round to negotiate, to get automatic qualification to CL we would need to either WIN the Europa League or amass oodles of coefficient points. Both unlikely in the short term.

A don't think the champions should need to qualify but I wouldn't fancy going into a cl play off round off the back of a couple of friendlies against poor opposition. The early rounds help us gather momentum I think.

It looks to me like the manager didn't sign KT and is trying to prove a point.
{Ed007's Note - KT's been raving about Emery in the press Kev so I don't think it's anything like that. I think it's more likely to do with the medical team at Arsenal's advice - hence the Scotland call offs - and KT might struggle to play 2 games a week just now. Maybe Emery feels the EL is Arsenal's best chance of making the CL next season or he's picked up the continental arrogance towards the EL and has chosen to play squad players/reserves and players struggling for fitness etc in the EL.}
